Feed the void needs a rework
If you don’t want to give the ability to eat our own grenades again, rework the damn thing. It’s a poor man echo of starvation that can be activated from both orbs and void breach, and it feels more like a fragment than an aspect.

i've always said this, feed the void aspect is actually a fragment, because devour is the same once it's obtained no matter what class. i'd like to see them put dark blink on this aspect and finally make it useable outside of nova warp.

I’ve actually been thinking about this a lot lately. I always thought it was kind of lame how, with the Void 3.0 update, Warlocks we’re the only ones who could completely opt out of using the buff they were supposed to be best at using. It also always bothered me that echo of starvation was always considered a key part of most Void builds even on Warlock. It wasn’t until recently with Strand that I thought of a potential solution, what if Feed the Void was a natural property of Voidwalkers. In other words Voidwalkers would always get Devour on ability kills and Feed the Void would instead be changed to supplement and improve Devour. My Idea would see Feed the Void then gain the functionality of Echo of Starvation and Persistence, and grant a small damage buff to Void abilities while Devour is active to keep up the pace. I understand it’s a bit more an extreme rework and likely unrealistic, but I feel it would do a lot for the subclass and fix/future proof a lot of builds.

4 отв.Voidwalker is a very strange subclass because it performs far better than the sum of its parts. The Melee is awful, the Supers are lacklustre and, as you say, one of its Aspects faces competition from a Fragment that is available to everyone. Yet, somehow it is still very good. Instant activation of Devour was meant to be a feature of Secant Filaments, but if you're making a Voidwalker Rift build then they're thoroughly outperformed by the new Briarbinds. If Feed the Void was reworked, I'd love to see it incorporate Suppression somehow, as it's a very strong but criminally underused keyword.

5 отв.I actually really like it, but I am more than ready for a buff. Someone suggested a x1 void surge but I think if ist called FEED the void, it should give a stacking(but small) dmg bonus, something like 3 per stack, maxing out at 10 stacks for 30% increased damage, but only to void abilities. It would probably need to be reduced in pvp, like invis timers, but could be good

2 отв.Honestly yeah. It was made for a meta with way less orbs, but they reworked orbs to be more common and void breaches to give you devour. It’s a pretty bad aspect now. Maybe giving a 3rd fragment slot would be nice.
