Dear Bungie, in regards to the "free eververse" I would purpose a counter offer. The community is in disarray over such small things, it would seem a complete "reconfiguration" would be necessary. Step 1, Unvault all content (past DLC's, and season content) as well as incorporate all D1 content into D2. Step 2, Give the player base the ability to choose what content they want to have installed (much like 343industries did with the MCC) this way it is up the player how much HDD space they're willing to sacrifice for content) Step 3, Remove the light level/Player level systems, even the journey tab can be overwhelming (but that can stay to be used to track campaign progress), Commendations are almost worthless, (like best dressed, players i know give that to other players that didnt do much to help in strikes or other activities) Go back to the basic enemy types(standard red bars, elites, champions, minibosses, and bosses) so everyone can enjoy all the content if they choose For far too long the community has expressed their discontent for the lack of visually appealing armor/weapons. Not everyone in the community feels as though their guardians are unique. Most players find it frustrating to see others with armors very similar to their own, and with weapons everyone and their grandmothers have, no guardian is ever going to be unique. Well why would you do all of this?... Lets run a scenario. you Unvault mercury, you Unvault the sundial season, now the infinite forest is fully explorable again, a fire team enters the forest, after wandering around for... Almost an hour, the fire team encounter a miniboss (let's call it EGO) after said miniboss is dispatched, a portal behind it opens and the fire team (thinking it's a shortcut) jumps through. Now they're on mars, more specifically old mars at the Clovis bray tower, they fight their way to the top and kill the old strike bos, just as they think it's over, they get teleported again, this time to a very specific strike on Venus, where an old archon awaits them, after fighting through waves of what feels like GM style enemies, they reach the archon, only to find a scorn archon apprentice. After crushing this encounter the fire team dreads being rewarded with sham loot, but to their surprise they receive 2 exotics (ie icebreaker and exotic class item blueprint) but why? Maybe it was just their time to get exotics, maybe Bungie did something great and wanted their fanbase to be rewarded for clearing and hidden dungeon. With the availability of all that content, the devs could create/recreate extraordinary things in D2, like the ability to bring back exotic class items, that could be crafted at the forge in the enclave, with interchangeable exotic perks, perks that could be obtained from endgame content and older activities to breathe new life into a game that has become so stale for most players, they've all but stopped actually playing. An example like Returning to The Prison Of Elders in D2 to collect a few class item exotic perks, with house fallen themed armor and weapons, or adding a few Black Armory Forges to areas like the plaguelands (for siva themed) Oryx's Dreadnaught (for taken themed) the original outskirts (for black armory themed) in the ishtar collective (for vex themed) or even the Tangled Shore (for scorned themed) there is so much potential for an amazing universe here, so many ways to give players an experience like no other and most of us feel as though it was stolen from us, taken with no other reason than to have the final say cause of bungies idea for a final shape. The fanbase has been robbed of our money, our time, and our entertainment. All we really want was the promise Bungie made before destiny 2 released, Uncut, Uncensored, truly unique experience for every guardian, the choice of our own destiny. Bungie has already went on record to say there will be 2 more minor DLC's after The Final Shape to wrap up the stories of Xivu Arath and the Vex, but what if instead of those minor stories, the community is given all of this instead. Guardians, I ask all of you, if this is something you would really want, make your voices heard, don't fall back into silence. Bungie, please for everything that is wrong in the world today, do something right, be the good guys. Keep true to the words that were spoken and let your fans become truly great.
