Not sure if anyone else misses this part of really year one of destiny 2 but remember when we got little side missions called adventures that was a beacon in the ground and it would give a mini quest (size of a mission) and would have extra character dialogue and story. (Onvoy of savathun, Rasputin hint) those missions were fun. I'm not sure if they removed them or just haven't put them in since warmind. It would be nice to see them return again

6 отв.Adventures got removed with Beyond Light, and now the notification pops up every now and then because Bungie refuses to fix or clean up their spaghetti coding. With that out of the way, I'd like to see them return as well. At least it'll put some variety in patrol zones.

1 ответUnless they make it loot-worthy enough for people to want to do them, there's no point. Getting a couple blues or a legendary 50 stat armor isn't going to work.
-
1 ответEvery time at daily reset it still says new adventures availeble, but there is none.
-
Only if they can resell it in a future season
-
1 ответIf I recall correctly, Bungie said it was too much work to maintain.
-
Adventures were an interesting way to repurpose the world maps and give some extra lore and such. One would think the next step would be hard mode adventures and even exclusive loot tied to them but at some point it was probably more than Destiny needed.

Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

Изменено (hate n payne): 10/23/2022 3:50:18 PMThey were much better for the game than strikes. Definitely should not have left the game. Could have started them somewhere in the planet and finished in the lost sector. This game has so much real estate in the game with content in collections that is not being used.
-
they do exist (kinda) daily legendary Witch queen mission (DLC owners only). I agree they should add an FTP version of it with legendary difficulty option for pinnacle or daily version for tier-1 drops.
-
I liked the adventures but I can see why Bungie stopped making them. They were fun little side activities with their own little side stories but they did little in the way of progression and earnings besides leveling up for the current DLC. It really felt like they existed to stuff the game with some kind of content as D2 vanilla barely had any content compared to D1: Age of Triumph. I think the last time adventures were present was back in Forsaken and even then they wern't optional side activities, they were mandatory steps to progress the story.
-
I'm glad Bungie got rid of them after Forsaken. Adventures were meaningless and quite boring.
-
Yeah I love the little story solo missions. Another suggestion is to let up play strikes launched from a planet solo so you can run the mission at your own pace and you are not competing for kills with other players.
-
Only if they had decent loot tied to them. Like is each adventure had a legendary version and completing it had a 30% chance of dropping a unique adept weapon, and each location had its own weapon. Also a few cosmetics like shaders, ghosts, sparrows, ships. Otherwise I'd say pass since it would detract resources from seasonal and dlc content.
-
Adventures and lost sectors should probably integrated to be re-playable sections of the campaign/seasonal story.
-
1 ответComing to an event pass near you 11.99.
-
Understand why they eventually had to go cause of their relation to the Red War but we were not really told clearly they were going. Same for treasure maps. When Bungie said Red War content I just assumed the campaign as the patrol areas were kept. The old treasure map emblems should have been rewarded during this season imho.

1 ответNew lights should be able to play the enemy of my enemy adventure on Titan, relates heavily to current events
-
2 отв.At least the ones for EDZ and Nessus should return No idea why they were removed to begin with considering their maps are still around
-
They did have neat stories tied to em
-
Yeah I miss them,When Shadow keep came out I was curious to see what adventures the Moon might have but Bungie didn't make any and then when Beyond light came out they were all removed.I wish Bungie would bring them back.
-
While fun, unless a massive revamp occurred I believe they would be pointless.
-
1 ответI believe nostalgia is strong here. Adventures were largely ignored after Red War IIRC, at least by the people I gamed with.
-
Man, I forgot about those. What a very good idea.
-
2 отв.Maybe if they made it worthwhile loot wise.
-
-
3 отв.The only thing is, if they add adventures back, ther really need to give them an incentive. Maybe something like lost sectors, but a way to focus farm extra spiky stat armor
