I think one of the main issues is that the new arc subclass for warlock in a way feels more like a downgrade, this is because before the changes warlock had one of the best arc subclasses even without too much buildcrafting. Now warlocks lost the arc web and got it back as a fragment and still, you get a -10 discipline penalty, stormtrance doesn't seem to kill even a player anymore on activation, and one thing i noticed too because i used arc before as my main subclass is that the arc web doesn't seem to be working properly anymore, the jolt feels like something completely new and different than arc web and it's not something good to run on crucible anymore, i just wanna make this issues known and hopefully come to an understanding and see what can be done.

Arc Souls should Jolt while Amplified. Or just Sentient Arc Souls.

2 отв.Other than the supers being pretty meh, which is true of most of the arc supers still, it’s actually a great subclass. The rework is a lot more fun than old arc warlock and it’s effective.

4 отв.Disagree. Chaos Reach was a powerful super against majors and bosses when you used GeoMags. But Stormtrance was weak in any role besides crowd-control…and arc Warlock abilities were also very weak in pve. Arc 3.0 and Amplified are a major boost to the power of Arc warlock abilities. People just don’t want to put in the effort to test builds or alter how they play to take advantage of the changes.

1 ответI have to put my two sense in. Arc Warlocks are in a good position, Arc soul is finally available to actually help you in Strikes, Raids, Crucible, open world, dungeons, and heaven forebid Gambit. Stormtrance FINALLY is viable now that both Landfall and Ionic Blink are combined, Chaos Reach does need a little bit of love in PvE but is overall an amazing super for single target or large group clear. Warlocks are finally viable again instead of just being a support class.

8 отв.Изменено (Artisan): 8/26/2022 2:36:03 PMIf Bungie hasn't figured out that every SINGLE rework on Warlock has felt crapped on and cumulative effect is devastating then I don't know what they're doing. Each had major - MAJOR - nerfs. Unless you like gimmicks of lava blobs and finger clicks Warlock has been left far, far behind in innovation, new kit, PvE and PvP capability and balance. It's been more about one-sided giveaways - devour not in return for Invis, arc-web, blink, Ionic traces, given away. No OHK melees & RIP HHSN. No rift reworks or alternatives. No new movement options. Nothing close to power of Omnioculus nor Loreley. No parity in Radiance. The only thing that SHOULD have felt good was Stasis but they were too busy making sure the melee couldn't hit anything right in front of you (for months upon months) whilst they slept through Shatterdiving combo (for an entire year). And that was 2020. It will cost them sales. Trust me.

2 отв.The arc buddie are terrible now too, they don’t hit targets unless they are standing still.
-
It’s not even arc web it’s 10x worse than arc web.
-
That what everyone said with Solar....
-
Hopefully Bungie will tweak Arc more for warlocks and/or buff Chaos Reach a bit. I just went back to void again. For now ill play arc on my Titan until than.

27 отв.Watch out here comes the "but uYo cAN aBiLITy sPAm" As if the main point of a subclass is aBiLITy spam and not the entire -blam!- super you have selected and both supers are quite horrible in the damage output area. Yeah crown might make it last forever but that doesn't help when the damage doesn't increase. Stormdancers doesn't help nearly as much as it should in terms of damage increase Geomags well we know what happened to them, but even then the super was used alot because you could get it alot and the AOE was broken the super itself is not strong has range fall off and you're vulnerable as hell with little to no damage resistance while in mid air. Warlocks do have ability spam central but that doesn't mean at all the rework is good in anyway. Arclock 3.0 is easily the most lackluster rework out of all 3.

18 отв.Lol I am warlock main since D1 beta and I just loaded up my hunter to do the first mission and try out the arc 3.0 subclass on it and let me tell you….it is so broken. I equipped assassins cowl and was essentially invisible the entire mission. You can dodge to charge your melee and melee to charge your dodge and with assassins cowl any melee kill makes you invisible and overshield. You can’t make this stuff up. Honestly I’m not even mad at this point just sort of sad that my warlock doesn’t have anything like that. People say the new helmet for the warlock is good but I haven’t noticed it doing much since I have only done a couple strikes with it.

A bit, is an understatement
-
Honestly all of this season is disappointing. Other than little new mobility options (blink, melee dash, barrier dash) each class got, the whole patch really fell flat. Void and solar reworks were amazing in both pve and pvp. Arc is gonna be fun in pvp but is really underwhelming and gimmicky pve wise.
-
yeah and the hot fix didnt fix the resist problem either just got nuked by 1 of those floaty orbs the boss shoots at you from full health . and just to test my theory i swotched to void and let the boss shot me with the same orb and it took 3 to kill me

None of the grenades having a jolt debuff hits them the most. No point in running arc lock until changes are made at some point.

5 отв.Are you specifically talking about Crucible? Because in PvE, the insane level of Ionic Trace generation negates any discipline or melee reduction that a fragment could give you. I haven't tried PvP yet, but the Spark of Discharge requires 3 Red-bar kills to generate a trace in PvE. It could be less in PvP, Bungie likes to count Guardians as more than 1. Arc Web's chaining is Jolt now, and as Warlock you also still get that Arc Web chain on your Chain Lightning Melee. The ability regeneration has been replaced with just giving you more Ionic Traces.
