Bomb knife is my favorite hunter melee by far, and I was absolutely delighted to see an exotic about it finally. However, now that arm day has rolled around, imagine my despair when I discovered that it's bugged on direct hits!
Here is bomb knife's normal behavior with the new solar aspects:

With Caliban's Hand equipped, however, on direct hits, there are three damage instances; one for the hit itself, one for the bomb, and one for the ignition explosion, generally delayed by a second or two.

(It will still reset on the knife's initial damage hit, though.)
This means that, at present, Caliban's Hand is a downgrade on hunters using bomb knife, as they won't be able to consistently get resets. As a bomb knife aficionado, I really hope Bungie fixes this.

That's not all - let's say u want to play with Rays of Precision mod from artifact at the same time. If u happen to get precision knife throw with the proximity knife there is no ignite effect altogether. Tried to explain this in this [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/261158273t]post[/url].
