Bungie, I have no incentive to play Guardian Games
For me personally, it's what the title says. I will do the initial questline but other than that, I won't participate in the event. There is nothing of interest to me, there is no rewards that I want and as I play all 3 characters, I don't care who wins, who's second nor who's third.
I don't care about the triumphs, the emblem - none of it.
Again, this is just me, and I speak for no one - but Bungie, you offer an event that is meaningless and just another reason for people to grind, and for what?

24 отв.Destiny isn’t that fun right now. Dlc was a home run, since then the game is boring It sucks we have to wait 12-15 months for dlc. How does a studio of 900+ not push more content?

Ditto. A useless grind for a junky weapon. These weapons are just repeat weapons with a different skin. Just like C.O.D.

They seem to be completely detached from the concept that people will play this game for good loot. And there is no engagement without it

14 отв.Then don't, you can grab the standard copy of the new SMG in 20-30 min. Unless you still need Heir Apparent or its catty everything is cosmetic. This was never a very big or popular event. Get the gear that you need/want and move one.

1 ответI'm doing it to restore my legendary shards. I've been running rather low lately. And the GG playlists count for Vanguard rep, so I'm cashing in on that. Like how I only use Iron Banana to rank up Crucible rep. Everyone has their own reasons. Less than 3 weeks till new season.

No real loot or reason to play it. I'm getting burnt out on the grind. I like to play pvp when I feel like this but pvp is in a bad place right now. So losing interest in the game. Sad

Yeah I think I got the catalyst for Heir Apparent last year on like my first medal dump and after that I just couldn’t be bothered. Nothing this year makes it any more interesting to do. Maybe if I got bright dust every so many medal points. But even then maybe not? I’m kind of done with this season if there’s no new story before season 17 I can’t even be bothered to finish some of the seasonal challenges. And this even is always just a glorified bounty chore event. Not unlike some of the other events, but the other events have better decorations, themed locations or an activity, able to get a lot of Brightdust and other materials. I mean they all get boring quick too, but for Guardian Games it never has enough going for it that I don’t get bored as soon as I’ve seen all the new stuff in Eververse that I likely won’t buy. So eh. Some people get into it. And I like seeing the tower get decorated up. But I just do not get even the slightest bit invested in participating in GG.

1 ответI don't even have the exotic, and I don't care. I dont think [i]they[/i] care. 3 weeks after WQ release it was back to playlists and ridiculous repetition. The story was great, the raid was excellent..in terms of story and ambiance (other raids have been better as raids imo). But man the game took a nose dive after that. There is no reason to play it at all.

1 ответSame here. I have no place in my arsenal for another SMG and I already have Heir Apparent. For as much as I play this game, Im fine skipping the event. I honestly cant even be bothered to put on the cloak to get laurels. Or however it works. And I don't think theres anything wrong with that.

2 отв.Another failed event for me. Time after time they hand us half baked events, literally the same rewards as previous events. New SMG is not even new, Reskinned 750 rpm Hakke SMG with a new paint job and a mediocre origin trait at best.

At a very long stretch the MM training mode offers exotic drops. It's GMNFs lite.

Some may already have the bright dust for this but I'm just chiming in with my reasons for playing. I like when they get SOMEthing right. I was taking a break for a few weeks until now. Laurels to bd to armor isn't a great reason but it's a reason. I have ONE reason and it lines up with what you said. TO GRIND.

Agreed. I started, but it quickly got boring. Jumping through hoops again. Then I read about the special streamer content. Bungle shot themselves in the butt with that one. Sony needs to clean house in the management area.

6 отв.Have even less incentive when practically everything we're supposed to be running this hamster wheel for doesn't even work, I swear everything they release is broken. If it's something important they'll "Fix it in a later season" but if it helps us unintentionally they nerf that -blam!- immediately.

The new smg is OK I guess but will not replace my current s-wraith or funnell web and nothing will replace ikelos (waiting on arc 3.0 to bring that back out again). Apart from that I don't much care for the event (or any of the events really)
