Изменено (Cadiz): 2/3/2022 2:51:05 AMThis was less than helpful. As I said previously, there are examples of players using macros for various different reasons that Bungie allows. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/253237763 Is using a macro to auto-dismantle considered automating gameplay? Is using a macro to Titan Skate considered circumventing limitations of the game? Is auto-buying from spider a means of circumventing an AFK kick? I mean no disrespect in saying that a link to the bannable offenses tab isn't useful here since there seems to be either a lacking of enforcement, lacking the capacity to enforce or a grey area that I've yet to see Bungie clarify.

Изменено (TuxyDoh): 2/3/2022 2:57:14 AMAs stated on previous replies using a macro for a mundane task such as material turn in is OK as it is not considered gameplay. Using one to afk in thrall way is clearly against the policy. If you are wanting a blanket yes or no, it's not going to be given as situations can vary, context matters. If there is a doubt as to if you can be banned I would personally not risk it. The reply from security you linked is about as clear as you are going to see.

So to make it clear and concise, using a macro for sword skating is a reason to ban or not? I don't care about dismantling equipment or buying manually, the pvp does not interest me but if I am interested in moving quickly around the world and I see the same amount of people saying that it is a reason to ban using macros for sword skating as people saying no. I don't want to break the rules and that's why I ask I would love bungie to be clear on this aspect.

The above answer is the official stance. Anything outside of that, use at your own risk.

Glib, but it is what it is. Thanks for your help and your time. Hopefully Bungie will do better to clarify their policy going forward as by your words, the current standard in the rules is a bit outdated.
