So many posting and complaining….
getting 5-0 is brutal! It happens to me and my team as well.
You know what we do? We don’t go to the forums, we go to elimination or we keep playing trials to get better.
Here’s what we practice, and you should too:
1. We focus on good accurate communication, which means instead of complaint when u die, you immediately call out where player is, what gun they are using, and location they are going)
2. We work on gunplay, focusing on hitting shots, and we aren’t afraid to call each other out when we aren’t hitting shots (sometimes we suggest switching play style if needed)
3. We always have one guy call out direction of team at start of each round, what’s the strategy? Is it heavy round? What’s working? What isn’t working? Do we continue to play X strategy or switch it up?
4. No one cares about their KD, we care about winning the game!
5. We all care enough to work hard at it, and that’s fun for us, if one of us isn’t feeling it, we all talk and either play some BS pve to blow off some steam or we keep going.
6. We all understand that we are trying for flawless so we reset if we lose at 4 wins or less or we keep going at 5 wins or more (if we are on mercy).
7. We always recap matches, what was awesome, what sucked, what do we improve upon.
8. We review strategy, the 60/40 rule, crashing orbs, playing lanes, whatever. Talk talk talk, it’s so important.
9. When u are dead, u should be making call outs none stop, talking more than the players alive, they need to know what u can see from ur orbs location, at all times!
10. Game awareness, we address this. Did teammate push too aggressively and make it a 2v3? Did we not strategically cover a snipe pick properly? Did we allow a team to use supers well? Did we peak lanes we shouldn’t have?
11. We always support each other! When someone is last alive we call it out (don’t use super on a 1v3 unless it’s last round). Its usually a waste and sometimes ur teammates need to remind u.
everyone wants to have fun, for me it’s fun to get better, work at it, and see a flawless card because I actually got better. Some opponents will message me calling me sweaty… thanks for that, I work to get better so I can be sweaty and win. To me that’s what trials is, the ultimate test of your pvp ability.
TLDR: fun in a competitive game is something that requires practice, for more details read above

This heartwarming touchy feely crap makes me wanna vomit

Everything you said was true but you and I both know this level of gameplay is years of practice in FPS. They want rewards not war.

The people complaining about going 5-0 or solo’s. They can’t just take their partners into elim. They are using solo queue to get better. But you aren’t wrong in many factors. The get gud comments have some just. You can’t go into the tier 1 PvP mode with opposition that only PvP and complain about getting stomped. But you can start learning what weapons are working. We all know how to aim a gun and get precision kills. It’s about knowing what builds have synergy and what builds help your team. Like last week, can’t remember the map name. But because it was so close quarters I ran Bottom Tree Warlock for rifts with the arc soul. Knowing my teammates will run in, get the buff and have the upper hand. Didn’t work all the time, but it sure helped. People jump in with the mindset that it’s just crucible and get stomped because they are engaging far to quickly, alone. Or against the wrong opponent.

All of this.
