Trials Gatekeeping - Bungie Is just Feeding Solo Players To The Top 1%ers
Bungie is intentionally helping the top 1% by rewarding them for stay on a card after 7 wins. Rewarding players for not going to the lighthouse after flawless 7 keeps the rest of us from even getting 7 total wins. Nothing but 3 stacks await solo players after 4 wins. As a solo player you WILL be grouped with other solo players against those three stacks. You will end up with sweatlords sitting on 7 wins vs players just wanting to get 7 total on an already broken card. You shouldn't have to face a 3 stack looking for their 7th flawless win if your card is already broken. I'm sure there are more solo players out there just trying to get 7 wins even if it takes all weekend... Shouldn't be punished for it.

We knew this going in. The only real changes made were that solo players can matchmake and that there's actual loot for just playing Trials, win or lose. More and better loot for winning, but now you're not just wasting your time if you can't get any real wins. It'll take you longer to rank up, sure, but you can still literally just take a beating and get loot. It just remains to be seen how many players will keep coming back after realizing that.

Not really. Solos went flawless too / much deeper into the card with more games won. Plus it wasn’t just the top 1% going flawless anymore. The changes are great and splitting the player base into something like a freelance would not help anyone.

If you’re going in solo you can’t expect an advantage against 3 people on Comms in a premade team lol. It’s a competitive mode. Yes you are probably gonna lose against it but you just gotta suck it up and move on to the next match

1 ответI mean I've got some insane God roll weapons and full armor sets while losing 80% of my games in solo que. I just wanted loot, I got what I came for, it was easy to get and far better than having to reset cards or go to lfg. Considering trials is more populated than ever before your definitely one of few who dislike it.

4 отв.I don’t really like how you get more rewards by getting 7 wins on your card and more xp per game, I reset my card every time I get a lose as I don’t see the point in not trying to go flawless but if you do that it takes forever to rank up

1 ответI know I’m going to get salt for this but honestly if you are so upset at solo queuing then go to GameStop and buy a $30 mic and make a looking for group post. I did it and went flawless within 2 cards

Given why there's an Actual Role called "Flawless Empyrean" which is meant to be the "GateKeeper", so when you see players running that Emblem, it means they are trying to block you. just like the "Light of the Lost" shows that, that player is carrying someone to the Light House. yes not all will run the emblems, but i think most do.

I get why you're upset, but I went flawless once before this week. But I went flawless 9 times this weekend. Couldve been more if I was running a mercy card. I played after flawless until we loss then reset. Flawless is a lot easier now. And this isn't a strike, you've got to have 1 or 2 people on yours friends list / clan that you play with.

1 ответYou've just got bad luck, dude. I mean the matchmaking in this game is definitely flawed, don't get me wrong, but I went on an 18 game streak as a duo and only ran into a super sweaty team once. Just gotta keep going.

yeah no.. they really tried to open up this game mode or else it would have gone entirely toxic with no redemption in sight.. the only question i have is why do we need 50 points which is 25 games roughly, to get a pinnacle when we can get a pinnacle for a 25 seconds run in a simulation on europa ?
