Just want to see what other people say. Honestly I chose warlock only because the default warlock on the screen in d1 looked like Star Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy😂! Otherwise I’d be a hunter main right now... so glad I chose warlock tho. What about y’all?

I chose hunter because I feel they looked the coolest, D1 hunter swag> D2 hunter swag
-
Titan.. Human. I'm comfortable in my own skin.
-
The capes. The swag.
-
Warlock because I figured it’d be more interesting to play smarty than sneaky or smashy.
-
I chose a warlock because of there(superior)abilities and(superior) looks
-
I pick hunter because it looked like the class nobody else would used.... My warlock quickly became my main
-
Saw the hunter. Sneaky bois with capes? Sign me the flip up.
-
Like most noobs I chose Titan because I figured it would be easiest. It is at first, but once I became better at moving(Destiny was my first serious fps) I made a Hunter because mobility. Then I made a Warlock and mained that all through the rest of D1. D2 murdered Sunsingerand basically neutered all Warlock subclasses, so I ended up back on Hunter for most of the time.

Warlock, because of Mass Effect. I'm not really a FPS fan, shooting stuff bores me to tears. However, Space Magic in a Sci-Fi/Fantasy setting has a certain appeal, and no other class embodies the Space Magic fantasy more than Warlocks ( when Bungie isn't nerfing them into the ground ).

Titan. Large.
-
I looked at hunters and said “hey that guy has a cool cloak.”
-
Chose hunter during D1 beta and stuck to it as my main. The armor looks the best...and i love stealth gameplay.

space wizard

I didn't know anything about destiny, didn't even know it existed, mates played it and convinced me to buy it. Got it in a black friday deal with the taken king for peanuts. Loaded it up and each class had a description, the hunter one mentioned about being stealthy and sneaking around. Sounded like metal gear solid so I chose hunter for that reason only, played the game and wasnt really what i was expecting. Played the campaign on hunter and loved it, ventured out and made a titan and a warlock and use all three still to this day.

The D1 alpha and at that point you could only play one character of your choosing. I picked Hunter simply for the fact of that’s what I am a hunter. Primarily archery ,but I do bust out the gun once in a while. Once the beta hit of course I picked Hunter to start then played the other two classes as well and have ever since.

I feel like when Destiny first came out the identity of the characters was important. Hunters were steath, warlocks were magic, titans were tanks. I chose warlock lock cuase you know space magic is freaking awesome. Still main a warlock. Bungie has let the characters identity suffer. I feel like the classes should complement each other. So ideally during and activity, you would want one of each. I still remember the first trailer. They show cased each class taking on the hive. It was become LEGEND. I felt like one in D1 not so much in D2

The cape life chose me
-
Really liked bounty hunter style design for hunters plus you just cant beat those capes and hoods.
-
Hunter seemed like stealthy boi (I don’t play like that), Titan seemed really cool and get all up in your face plus armor. I do play like that but... Warlock seemed like it might eventually get not only support abilities but also have really dope magic. That just seemed awesome to me. I’m still a Warlock main to the end but Titans are my bros and I love playing as Titan too. It’s alarmist a second main if I have time but sadly these days I don’t feel like I have time for two characters. I haven’t even unlocked stasis on the Titan because I refuse to replay the whole story and do stasis quests again.

In Destiny 1 I started with Hunter, because I thought that was the "default" class to unlock the other two, but when that wasn't the case, I went with Warlock, simply because I wanted to rock a bad ass space duster and blast my enemies to oblivion and look good doing it.

Изменено (Ferus Lux): 3/9/2021 4:38:47 PMI chose Hunter in D1 because when I saw the Pathways out of Darkness vidoc in 2013, the idea of exploring forgotten or hostile frontiers in mysterious worlds looked better as one and the armor designs are the best. ...But the Class itself was boring af, so I chose Warlock in D2 because nothing is better than a flaming sword and fiery wings to this day...but 90% of Warlock armor looks hideous so I'm having an existential crisis. Can't wait for Transmog to get Prodigals back.

Cause in D1, I saw hunters and thought they would be the class that EVERYONE would choose(and I wasn't wrong), I thought titans were more of defensive classes which I'm not a big fan of, so I went with warlock since I heard they were the closest thing to "Space Wizards" which I was very interesting to me at the time. Since then I've played with the other classes too but I still main warlock. What can I say, Space Wizard is better than Tank Boy or "Lol imagine trying to have fun in PvP too bad buddy" the class.
-
Hunter because it said Gunslinger and the cape
-
D1 Titan D2 Hunter

Изменено (Swiftlock): 3/9/2021 2:59:50 PMI felt Warlocks would offer a more interesting way to play the game than space cowboys and space marines. It's been my main since D1 Alpha, but it's sad to see how Bungie has been slapping the class with nerfs left and right while ignoring Voidwalkers and top/bottom Stormcallers.
