I used to play on Xbox but recently bought a PS5. I wanted to port over my characters to Destiny 2 on the PS5 and completed the cross save and in my app it says both characters are eligible to play on all my connected accounts. However, when I try to select either of my characters I get the notice that I have lost connection to the Destiny 2 Servers, permission to multiplayer online may have changed or my profile my have been signed in elsewhere. Any help? I subscribed to PlayStation Plus and I went as far as Foresaken on Xbox but don’t want to spend the $50 to get the Legendary edition unless I’m 100% sure it will resolve my issues.

Unplug the PS5 from power and leave it disconnected from power for at least 5 minutes, then try the game again. If doing the above doesn't resolve the issue, then on the PS5 log out of your PSN account. Then using a computer on the same local network as your PS5 go to playstation.com and log in to your PSN account, then log out, then log back in, and finally log back out one final time. Now go back to your PS5 and log into your PSN account and see if the game starts normally.
