Anyone else been experiencing this? Since Festival of the Lost started, it has been nearly unplayable for me. Also running into tons and tons of 4+ stacks. The problems could be related as usually you get better connection quality when there aren’t stacks.
-
Player base is gone. Folks got tired of being stat farmed and quit playing.
-
they’re always bad. but they’ve been worse than normal lately for sure.
-
Lag and stacks go hand in hand. More teams more lag.

Изменено (Mitkoprofi): 10/26/2020 12:36:04 PMThis game has never been CBMM. If it was i would never connect with people from US and Asia becouse im from Europe. Every lobby asian people and americans. They just completly removed all filtering even the connection.
-
That's because less people are playing because it's not fun for the larger payer base. The casuals. So the matchmaking has to look farther to fill the lobby.
-
PvP connections have been terrible since 2014
-
The connection has always been bad it is just getting worse.

Few day ago me and my friend do some crucible for bounty prepared I caught some one teleported around

Изменено (Knightlight): 10/26/2020 6:28:44 AMTo be honest I feel like bungie might of turned on sbmm. My lobbies were so sweaty and laggy. They secretly messed with matchmaking in the past and admitted to it in d1, they even lied about it initially. So they might do that again.

Изменено (Siefere): 10/26/2020 1:22:48 AMSo much for CBMM fixing lag. The big problem is and always will be the peer to peer connection because Destiny does not have dedicated servers for crucible. The BS about getting rid of SBMM to cut down on lag was trash. Getting rid of SBMM was purely for the upper tier and streamers regardless of what anyone else says. They want to go in and be able to easilly dominate against low tier players rather than have to sweat it out against other sweaties. Bungie never did SBMM right anyway. Rather than pit you against others with comparable stats, they put you against people in the same crucible rank. Another thing to think about is, depending on what platform you are there's a lot of people that are losing their hacks. So that are probly going to network manipulation

If memory serves me right, something like this always happens in most games just before a big update. Granted this is happening sooner than usual. But every now and again I run into matches with some poopy connection
