Arbalest aim assistance
Bungie are lowering aim assist on low zoom snipers. But if they dont change the aim assist on arbalest then arbalest will just take the place of low zoom sniper as it has loads of aim assistance

I was hoping to see the snapshot perk removed from snipers. Oh well. Keep fighting cheese with cheese.

13 отв.My clan calls arbalist “aim assist, the gun”. It’s a joke. It’s nearly impossible to win a primary gunfight against it.

6 отв.Its going to affect arbalest too, its going to have less aim assist because of its low zoom scope. I wish bungie was more clear with players about it but yeah don’t worry

8 отв.The AA isn’t the problem. It only has 61 AA. But it has a huge hit box. Like QB bow huge. This is all done purposely in attempt to lessen the skill gap. It’s the same reason bastion and Jotunn are a thing.

Linear fusions in general have a large hit box. Arbalest is more of a problem than the others because it takes special ammo and not heavy.

I love Arbalest, and it is pretty nuts. And I mean that it's aim assist is a little too high, and the shots that people can hit don't make any sense

It’s just a flinch issue, same with snipers, will say it’s got a ridiculous hit-box tho.

6 отв.Its not not arbalest itself its enhanced linear fusion rifle targeting thats breaking the gun. By itself its average but 80% of the time its the mod that causes the ndver miss perfect shots. Thsy either can nerf ths aim assist on the gun to balance the mod,nerf the mod to balance the gun, or remove the mod and definitely not do the 1 cost enhanced targeting crap for it again.

100%. I was expecting a nerf to the aim assist for Arbalest, but apparently bungie doesn’t agree. The flinch on the weapon also needs to be looked at.

14 отв.Most likely yes, but keep in mind that Arbalest has half a second charge time as well as being an exotic, preventing the use of an exotic energy or power weapon - unlike the Revoker. They could tune the AA down slightly but not too much or it will be completely useless.
