A guardian lost. A broken-hearted fireteam.

So Iv heard a lot of people talk about how this festival of the lost sucks. I ask you not to forget even if this is a made up holiday it can be very real and have substantial meaning to others. June of this year, I lost someone very important to me one of my fire team members. He was one of my best friends and close like a brother. As how I live my life my friends are my real family. It all started as some random I had joined with back in destiny 1, but as the threats to humanity emerged as the enemies fell we became brothers. He was a true guardian, with a skill level far above my own. The darkness could never touch him with his armor on. One day the darkness found a way to transcend space and time to the real world, to do what no hive god could do. Extinguish his light. He was murdered at his place of work. With his light removed, myself and a fellow fire team member @whiplasht9 adopted his ghost to keep it safe. I had hung up my guardian rank in the past but after gaining his ghost I have rejoined the light. I could never reach his legacy nore shine as bright as his light did, but he will never be forgotten his light will live on in this time of the festival of the lost. CAUMILLER55
