Like the title says. Exotic armors should have access to all seasonal armor mods. I'd settle for just being able to slot them period, but I think given what the armor is it should have no seasonal restrictions and just have access to all seasonal mods you've unlocked.
Edit: thanks for the support guys. Hopefully someone at Bungie gets a look at this and uses the feedback to implement something that will deal with this issue. Also I do agree that exotic weapons should be able to use champion mods. That is also something I hope bungie addresses if they reach out on this post.

Couldn’t agree more! If it’s a UI problem, just create folders for each season instead of pages and pages of mod possibilities. -
Around 1.2k upvotes but no response from bungie

I think exotics should- -Be bought back at 58 roll -Roll 66+ guaranteed with a maximum of 72 stat total (it’s 1 armor piece it’s not unbalanced) -When fully masterworked, be able to equip seasonal mods -maybe consider dropping affinity for exotics specifically, like when fully masterworked you unlock a “rainbow” affinity. The Goal: Have exotics always impact players armor set up and encourage players to grind the materials and shards to fully masterworked their gear.

100% like exotic weapons should get champion mods or perks.

Very much yes.

Bad idea to put mod for weapon exotic... I’m sure crucible pvp will broken more toxicity cheater
-
They should have the new "yearly" slot then change to the next "yearly" one
-
Seasonal Mods - yes. But not every single season, only the season the armor piece drops in. You could even take this one step further, and have armor pieces who's entire perk is having multiple mod slots from the same season instead of gear piece specific slots. Exotic Gauntlets with 3 Warmind Slots? Exotic Helmets with 3 Dawn Slots?
-
Especially at the cost of what it takes to master work them.
-
This would probably create a “pOwEr cReEp” so bungie would never do this sadly.
-
I'm gonna say no for this reason alone. I don't want to regrind for another good roll on an exotic that now has been coded to a certain season and light capped. Exotics rarely drop as it is. Now if the mod slot is made to except any mod from any season that changes things, then sure, but I doubt they would implement it that way.
-
C'mon, Bungo.
-
Its stupid that its not a thing. Of course this is Bungie we are talking about. Half assed at best Bungie
-
This idea is good and would benefit the playerbase, which is why bungie will never do it.
-
Seasonal mods should be unlocked and applied via the artifact. That’s itThe whole applying them to something is an extra, unnecessary layer of BS meant to make us feel like we’re doing something meaningful.
-
Bump!!! Exotics need champion mods too!
-
Weapons too!
-
It should be the same with the weapons as well.

Champion mods for Exotic weapons and armor.
-
Изменено (PRIME_-LeGEND): 6/19/2020 12:51:40 AMAnd exotic weapons should have champion mods too. In order to increase switching costs, make it cost 100 enhancement cores to switch mods. (So that you dont have an incentive to switch again and again)
-
Armor and weapons.
-
Guns should do this too. So many opportunities to make exotics better and they just don't do it.
-
Yeah exotics being mod viable would be great. The only issue with this is that it doesnt somewhat negate armour sunsetting, since mods would be available. Unless mods phased out after all the relevant armour also got sunset.
