Hell yes! I agree.
Sadly the opposite is true the higher light we get, the LESS powerful we are.
The other day I was trying to solo legendary Rasputin Bunker on the moon at 1015 light, and no amount of effort, no weapon, no buff could TOUCH the two champions. All I could do is drop them 15-25% at most before they regenerated completely.
I tried for and hour to kill those two AFTER killing the boss. It was impossible. Even knocked one off a cliff and it was back on me undamaged in 2 seconds.
That is not fun. That is also not challenging. That is simply undoable.
I have brought this up many times, Bungie knows and does not care.

Изменено (Gunship): 5/25/2020 1:13:34 PMI did. And matching Dmg type. And well of radiance. I ripped the boss apart easy. Tried for an hour with EVERY high dps weapon I own. Tried: Anti-Barrier - Smg & Sidearm Overload - God role Strykers Masterworked (this should easily have done the job by itself) Unstoppable - Hc & Melee Even tried BOTH OVERLOAD & Unstoppable at the same time! (Sword and Melee) Also tried specking for majors and bosses to see if that worked better. Nope. They didn’t even take dmg for more than a second before starting regen, and I could not get them down past 15-25%. And their regeneration was easily outpacing my dps. Even getting over 30k a sword swing. I play on Xbox one btw. It’s been super hard to do some lower level content at higher light for a long time. But it’s never been THIS impossible. I even knocked one off a cliff and it was right back on me in 2 seconds or less. I was 1015 Light so past the soft cap. I also tried dropping my light level to 875 or so, no help. Btw. The overload champions were both Unstoppable Fallen Captains with Arc DMG. [i]MY Strykers is also Arc[/i]
