Interview with a Destiny 2 Hack User

I was reading through a Paul Tassi article https://www.forbes.com/sites/paultassi/2020/04/21/anger-over-destiny-2-pc-cheaters-has-reached-a-tipping-point/#1f29b7b17779 and it had a link to an interview with a person who uses a wall hack in Destiny 2. Call it information bias if you will, but with what has been shown in other videos of people cheating, I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say it's that it's legitimate. The interviewee says they cheat because their original account was banned for communications violations (if I heard it right, even with closed caption on I have some difficulty making out what they're saying) and that they now play using wall hacks to kind of spite Bungie for banning their original account. They also mainly just play PvP at this point, to screw over others for Bungie screwing them over. They say that the wallhack cheat costs them $24 dollars a month, but that they don't use the cheat to make money, nor do they play on other peoples' accounts, they just do it to spite Bungie. Although other hackers they play with do use their hacks to make money off of them, especially if they use the rapid fire super hack, which they say costs $120. They don't think they'll be banned because Bungie's "system" sucks at detecting wallhack and aimbots because it's just people checking stats. So as long as the player using the hacks shows a steady progression of getting better to the point that when they use said hacks that it doesn't seem unplausible for them to be that good it's harder to determine. They said they have used two accounts during this time, the first one used teleporting and instant respawn hacks and was banned within 48 hours, their second one has not been banned yet and has been active for two to three weeks, although they said that it's probably because of the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. They also go on to say that they know and play with others who have used hacks as well for at least six months. They also add that Bungie's form of banning is useless. If their account gets banned they just make a new one, if their hardware gets banned they just replace their ram, if their ip is banned they just use a change their ip address (and that they feel Bungie hardly ever does them because that just means less money for them). They say that they seem to have run into more cheaters the week after Widow's Court, while the interviewer says they feel like they've run into less. They feel Destiny 2 either needs to improve (like it did in Forsaken) or die off (with the recent changes, snipers being nerferd, lack of incentive to play, and just general lack of anti-cheat measures). They say that if Bungie would agree to unban their original account they would Bungie the USB drive that they have they hack downloaded on as well as their whole computer.
