Yeah if this happens, I’ll be done with Destiny. Spent too much time grinding - if you ever want to see another dime from your loyal fans you better rethink this.

3 отв.Изменено (dinosaur123): 2/26/2020 7:39:23 PMOnly Bungie can kill any current motivation to play by introducing future ridiculous game changes. You do realize shelving, or since Luke is a fan of the Fortnite model, "vaulting" weapons has the opposite effect right? Why chase x,y,z now when it won't matter in the end.

Quit the game over a month ago now and this makes me sure I'll never be back.

1 ответThis honestly sounds like a lot of the issues could be solved by hiring more development/software people. The people coding, updating, maintaining, and physically making the game need to drastically outnumber the artists, writers, concept creators, etc. I don't know what Bungie's budget is or how practical it is for them to hire more people, but that's my recommendation. Avengers endgame had 2 writers and 12 VFX studios. I know people say video games and movies are two totally different worlds, but having worked in the technical/manufacturing world for a while, I can tell you every person I've talked too in the industry of manufacturing/production/fabrication has the exact same problems with just the nouns swapped out and eventually come to the same solutions.

6 отв.Congratulations you have made probably the worst decision for this game ever, what was it? Did you get too lazy to want to balance the guns?
-
Nope. Done.
-
This is such a bad idea very bad

1 ответSo I farmed menagerie for hours to get a good roll trust for range to be nerfed and now to be obsolete and I spent so much painful time in comp to get Luna and NF For it be obsolete and 40 games of gambit to get breakneck. Never again lol.

6 отв.Same song and dance heard all of this before, fool me once shame on me... Fool me twice.... Then I'm the idiot
-
I have a question, how is power creep an issue in a game where enemies scale to you? Legitimate question.

The last thing we wanted was for you to look at your favorite gun or helmet and decide that it had become obsolete. Since the reveal, we’ve read a lot of ideas for how this could have been done better. Your feedback is clear: The time you have invested in your stuff should be respected." I can’t write the name of that disease or i’ll be banned again, but it’s clear it’s not the flu.

1 ответYou should just make an expiration date for d2 honestly it's clear without activision you can't maintain it without stripping things from it left and right it should end at the end of the season pass and work on d3 with a full staff and get it right
-
Where can destiny go? BuFf HuNtERs MoAr - Bungie
-
YES! I have some guns I love and I use them ALL THE TIME. What is the point in that?? Nothing I get now makes me want to stop using them. Take them away and then invest time and resources in making the next gun I don’t want to give up! I WANT a reason to go looking for that next weapon I can’t put down - but make sure I can find it!! I will retire my favorite gun lovingly into my vault, just like my 170 Red Hand IX that still has a place of honor in my D1 vault.
-
Hey with all due respect don’t make changes that your community doesn’t like if they don’t like it don’t add it listen to the people that make your game be where it is today maybe listen to our complaints please don’t add this in it is terrible and you can see we are very upset at this change you are making.

1 ответI'd rather never get another DLC, update, expansion, etc than cap the weapons I have spent a few THOUSAND hours farming for in this game.
-
Wow, shelving weapons now. Another page from saynotorage (streamer of course) list of suggestions. Just hire the guy already, might as well take him with you on this sinking ship.
-
I made a post about this here if you want to read the whole thing, but basically my criticism is that the current RNG of the game is too harsh to put a time limit on acquiring god rolls. If there is not a fundamental rework of loot in some way to accommodate the new system of rotating gear, unlucky people will not be able to get the weapons they want before they just become obsolete.

1 ответИзменено (ONI): 2/26/2020 7:10:37 PMF U C K you Bungoo,I wasted so much time to farm the god roll,it turns out to be all worthless after 9~15 months?

Sounds like things can get worse.

3 отв.Creating a limited shelf life for legendaries will devalue the experience of getting that sought after roll of your favourite gun you always wanted. It’ll sour the chase, the grind. It’s been bad enough with the seasonal weapon mods for “champions” that effectively excludes some weapons form end game stuff each season. People get attached to their digital property in persistent games and that’s a good thing. It creates a sense of achievement, of satisfaction. If you turn seasons into a meaningless circle jerk of re-attaining gear you basically just lost it’ll turn people off. And like the DC mentioned some guns have that certain combination of traits that make them desirable beyond just mere killing power that can be hard to define. It’s often a personal taste issue as well and losing it and having to reacquire that elusive something will be a source of consternation and strife for a lot of people I believe.

I'm calling it now; once this goes through, we'll be able to purchase a consumable for the small price of 1600 silver (this way players have to actually purchase 2000 😈) that will instantly bring one weapon up to current level.
