Today, Update 2.7.1 introduced an issue that affected currencies and pursuits. We immediately brought the game offline to mitigate any loss of materials while we investigated. We have identified the issue and the good news is that we were able to deploy an update to the server and will not have to update the game client.
We have rolled all character data back to our most recent backup at 8:30 a.m. Pacific before the issue was introduced. This will restore any lost materials caused by the issue, but players will lose any progress they made if they played between 8:30 a.m and 10:20 a.m. when we brought the game down for maintenance. Any purchases made using Silver or Bright Dust during this window will need to be repurchased. Any Silver spent or purchased will be restored.
The server update is complete and we are beginning to bring the game back online now. Stay tuned to @Bungiehelp for updates.

Damnit Bungo... Why are you such trash? Skeleton crew left for D2, or what?😔

-
I really hate what has become of pvp I play solo in classic mix because I want the best connection and you match me with people faraway which gives me lag and shit shot registration

The amount of whining in many comments below is epic. Play or don't. Find another game if you don't like this one. It's JUST a game. There are a whole lot of trolls here just primed to jump in and start bashing Bungie no matter what the company does. Granted, Bungie gives them a lot of ammunition. But in this case Bungie seems to have done their best to fix the mess they created as quickly as possible. Sometimes patches that work in the test environment do something screwy because of an unexpected interaction when they go live ... all you can do is fix it then, which they did. It was annoying. But it's no cause for toxic name-calling and personal attacks.

Just another “had to be there moment,” right? :/

The lore collected in the Corridors of Time is missing for me. I’d finished this well before Tuesday’s update and hadn’t logged in a couple of days prior to the update. Where is the lore and is it being restored for those that completed it?

Hello, I am a destiny player who has been in the game since season 2 of destiny 1. First, Sorry for my English, but I belong to the Spanish community where Bungie apparently has no one to collect information And I think Bungie should rethink the whole theme of the seasons, the eveverse, the Osiris trials etc. First let's talk about strikes. Currently they are useless, I prefer to do nightfall at 980/950 to get materials, rather than start doing strikes that do not give anything. I remember all the time I spent playing strikes of destiny 1, trying to get the exclusive armor and weapons of those strikes and I remember playing how fun it was ... that's why Bungie must make the strikes useful again and stop being there as decoration to complete boring adventure steps. secondly I want to talk about the crucible; I am not a PvP fan player, but I play it a lot ... and I think it is time for you to put that destiny 1 mode, where you had to capture the ball and score on the rival field. in Spanish it was called (Grieta) mode ... besides they should put the Osiris trialls back on! with armor as beautiful as those of destiny 1. and not like the trials of the 9 thirdly I want to talk about the seasons As for the seasons. I think they are badly raised. There are many seasons, each of which has little content and they take up a lot of work. it would be much better to have 2 seasons with 6 months duration each and with a much more interesting amount of content, instead of being € 60 DLC they could be € 30 ... that have history, new armor, weapons, modes of game like menagerie etc and with the inclusion of exclusive weapons and armor in strikes in crucible etc you would have people much more entertaining and fun. Finally, let's talk about Eveverse. we have lost the seasonal engrams, we have lost the luminous dust that the objects gave when breaking them and all this was not supposed to happen ... Activision was supposed to force Bungie to have eveverse and to include a lot of content there ... but Now there are only you and most things are almost impossible to achieve ... making the 6 contracts that give lumino dust, I get 1200 per character, that is, a total of 3600 ... but then you go to eveverse and you find that A gesture is worth 4200 ... so where is the logic here? If in 1 week I can't buy what I want. and don't tell me even silver! I have paid each and every one of the DLCs. which does not seem fair to me! that now I have to spend more money on evevers

I just didn't login yesterday when I heard there were issues. I feel some of you are incapable of missing a day. Perhaps a break is what many in these forums need.
-
Bungie has been pretty absent lately, I wonder why that is 🤔

Изменено (Harbinger): 1/30/2020 6:32:52 AMTo be fair, this update was more of a hardlight and a few bugs we never really noticed. Cause I'll tell you right now, whoever's the guy that "patched" or "fixed" these bugs, clearly didnt realize that most of them are still alive and kicking. Theres people already laughing and posting about how most things are still in the game and nothing got really addressed. Cant wait to see how fast they try to fix this before trials comes around and even more fire comes burning down.
-
I did corridors of time twice yesterday morning never got emblem or triumph? Wtf Bungie
-
In dev ops shit happens, thanks for fixing quickly.. dont let the people who have no conceptual understanding of large scale dcus get to you or the team. These things happen. Thanks for the quick turn around.

Good no bs answer. Straight to the point of what was done. Take note china. Bwaaahaahhaaaa

Well done.

Hey so wasn’t a pretty large portion of the patch supposed to fix winters guile and wormgod caress? I’m seeing they’re still broken, but now permanent instead of resetting off of kills... how did you manage to do that?
-
Can you roll back so I have Not Forgotten 😜
-
Roll it back to D1 for puppies and friendship.......
-
Bungie's core team Is working on d3 so right now it's probably low paid interns working on bugs and patches
-
You could have sold it as an immersive game experience and said something along the lines of "The Corridors of Time collapse just became real ... blah, blah, blah... The collapse was just too powerful, and as a result we've all been thrust back in the past a few hours".
