Heroic Sundial, Add Matchmaking.
We're just gonna team up with random people using Looking For Group anyway, the no matchmaking is an annoyance and nothing more.
It is not much harder than a regular Sundial and you do not need any voices or teamwork besides what you find in the usual Sundial.
Plus you locked an Exotic Quest behind it, which you need the Season Pass for and Sundial is locked behind Season Pass already.

3 отв.Optional matchmaking should have been on everything since Destiny started. For the thick headed, focus on the word OPTIONAL. (If you don't find the OPTIONAL matchmaking useful, don't use it and keep your pie hole shut about it.)

There is no reason not to add matchmaking as long as its optional. When heroic managerie was released I found a team with no mics and completed it as well but it was a bit more difficult depending on the boss. Nightmare hunts, nightfalls, etc should have optional matchmaking. Raids are the only piece of content that should never have matchmaking. Every other activity can be accomplished without communication. I know because I have done it. And again OPTIONAL meaning you can still go in with your premade fireteams.

If they do, good luck. Sometimes I’m the only player running anti-barrier and unstoppable weapons. Can’t do everything on your own when playing on legend difficulty.

I joined a group labeled "legendary sundial no mic needed" and we finished it easy. just add matchmaking I know some activities need more coordination then others but seriously just add matchmaking to everything it wont harm anyone

I COMPLETELY agree. It makes absolutely NO sense that we can't matchmake this activity...it's not confusing or hard.

4 отв.People call this “endgame” it’s not, the only endgame destiny has are the raids, everything else is just glorified strikes with modifiers which should have optional matchmaking.

How about you get a clan or some friends to play with instead of crying about it on here? Destiny is not a game for solo players. Been that way since the beginning.

3 отв.Being on LFG immediately removes a favorable percentage of the lazy players, or uninformed players. This wouldn't be anything like reckoning either.

1 ответI have a theory. ‘Optional’ MM is not added to stuff because the game engine/server resources would not be able to hndle the extra players.

The quitting culture and intentional sabotagers have ruined the idea of matchmaking for heroic activities. I can barely make it through a strike or any activity without someone quitting or AFKing. Raging quit. Got my bounties quit. I don’t like this team quit. Hey is that a guy trying to do a heroic public event. Let’s go destroy the boss for him. I’m a solo player and hate to be locked out of activities. But the player base has made this bed. So they can lay in it.

13 отв.I disagree. High level activities that need communication and people committed to finishing said activities do not need matchmaking. Matchmaking and lfg are 2 different things. With lfg, there is communication, you know what your teammates are using so yall can coordinate/setup loadouts that work together better, and the main thing is you know the people are committed to finishing said activity. With matchmaking, you dont communicate with each other, you dont know what your teammates are using, and you have to hope the people are committed to actually finishing the activity. And not say, leave during the middle of it cause they finished a bounty. Heroic is much harder than reg for 2 simple things: loadouts are locked and if you all wipe, you have to start completely over.

Id agree but ive seen ALOT of blueberries struggle in the normal mode cant begin to imagine how annoying it would be having to deal with them in a harder difficulty version.

Despite Devil's Ruin being acquirable in the Classic Sundial, we still need the matchmaking to get defeat Inotam on Legend difficulty triumph. Without it we cannot get the Saviour Badge and that feels bad. Especially for Shy folk who just want to play the game.

Exotic quest = normal sundial. If you are going to complain at least get your facts right.

Agreed, finding players on LFG sites is awful, and I don't want to jump from clan to clan just to see if they actually have any active players

In the first place, Bungie is not going to move a finger unless they put more content in eververse, in the second place they do not have personnel in the game right now there are only those who keep the servers

I agree, that they should implement matchmaking, i have even better idea, add matchmaking to everything except raids, where communication is needed. but make some screen where we can select our weapons (with right perks if its needed) so that we can see what the others take and what we take to get through that stirke, or whatever

3 отв.There is honestly no reason why there is no matchmaking for legend sundial. Just did it with an LFG group down one person and we cleared it just fine. Didn't even touch my keyboard talking with them at all. With no changes besides the light level, extinguish, and match game it can be done as a matchmaking group easily. If you fail, so what? Some will leave and you will instant fill from matchmaking.
