This is exactly why it doesnt need to come back all the pinnacles had to he completely shit on and the mode itself pretty much neutered so everyone can get 2100. How long do you give it before the same people are shouting becuase you have to win every game in a row to get the best stuff in trials. Better question why would yall even wanna play it after what happened with comp and its guns

I member being proud to have lunas equipped. Now I wont even take recluse out of the vault because I'm ashamed of how they just made it a free handout.

If they make it like D1 then you could get the gear without going flawless by doing bounties and playing - there was also a guaranteed current season gear drop at (if I remember correctly) 3, 5, and 7 wins. If you went flawless, then you got an adept version of the weapons that was at the beginning primaries with elemental damage, at the end simply a different color of the same gun with the additional perk snapshot sights. Aside from that once you went flawless you could continue to farm for an extremely rare exotic until you got 3 losses on your card If they do it this way (like they should’ve done when D2 came out) then people won’t have a problem because all the casuals can get gear simply by playing and completing bounties, while all the diehards can get trophy gear but not have anything game breaking better than everyone like the way pinnacle gear was made. This is bungie we are talking about though so while I do want trials to return, I am also pretty sure they will mess it up lol

Mode exclusive weapons that you can only use in trials. Upgrade them by playing. Add some dope exclusive gear/ornaments, and emblems that can be flexed, and the PVP community will flock to it

I’d be pissed if you could only use trials weapons in trials. I loved using my adept blind perdition in PvE in D1. What’s the point of earning it if you don’t get to use it except for trials where you earned it? That’s like saying they should make raid guns you can only use in the raid 🤦🏼♂️

What if there was special Osiris mods that the weapons had a slot designed for PVE. So special perks could be used in PVE content but not relevant in PVP

There 100% will not be weapons you can only use in trials and anything slightly op will be nerfed just like comp not worth the time

That's why they SHOULD NOT be OP. Static rolls that you have to unlock like Rose.
