No, he is dead. Osiris failed to rescue him. He said it in the trailer....
If he was just stuck fighting we could just travel through the Forest to him. It would require a time machine.
We are traveling back in time to save him. Meaning he is dead in the present.
The Paradox lore states he time travels to the future and meets us, then goes back and lives out the rest of his life until he dies in the Forest.
We are saving him after he goes into the Forest. Meaning we don’t follow the lore tab at all.
This is a retcon.

yeah he failed to help him (thats what he said in the trailer) so assuming he made him cheat death, he would still be alive. it may also strengthen the “future mercury is just a simulation” theory. you also don’t say someone cheated death if its for a few weeks but who knows

He is dead. You don’t need to time travel to save someone lost in a place you control. You just travel to him. Osiris can make gates to Travel the Forest, he did it in Curse. Of course Future Mercury is a simulation...it said SIMULATED FUTURE when you traveled to the Dark Future. Paradox lore said he came to future as a visit while he was still living in the City. Not being saved while looking for Osiris in the Forest. This is a retcon.

Изменено (Shockwave 989): 12/5/2019 9:54:28 AMThe saving is because Saint-14 received the shotgun in his own past. We see a past Saint-14 in the trailer grabbing the gun, but how he ended up on Mercury now need to be established. Future Mercury is a simulation, yes, a simulation Saint-14 ended up in when he died.

Yet the lore states he traveled to the future before Six Fronts. He then lives on and goes to the Forest and dies. This is not that scenario. At all. Yet the dev also said this is when the hand off occurs. So two totally different scenarios meant to cover a single hand off. We are saving him after entering the Forest. We are not bringing him to the future prior to Six Fronts. So it’s a retcon.

Again, we see two different Saint-14s. Not one.
