Hi,
As Bungie does not offer their players options to dispute their bans, I am doing it here.
I am a long time player of Destiny, having first played on Battle.net and later on transferred to Steam upon hearing the news of the move.
In terms of PVE/Crucible I am a below average player, scoring below 1.0 in KDs and recently taking 2 weeks to obtain the Revoker Sniper Rifle.
Today I was playing Competitive mode with 2 friends trying to obtain Luna's Howl. I took a break for a few hours, coming back to 'this account has been banned.'
Upon reading Bungie's Banning Policies, they do not offer players a chance to dispute their bans and their decision is final, which I believe is unfair.
I do/did not cheat and at the time of playing Destiny 2, I had the following applications open:
- Razer Synapse
- Nvidia Experience
- Ccleaner
- Discord
- Windows Defender
I am asking Bungie devs to please re-investigate this issue and unban my account due an error and potentially review their flawed anti-cheat system.
If my request is not upheld, I will be taking further action with Steam and potentially PayPal.
I would also like anyone else who have been banned unfairly also to come forward and provide their opinions.
Thanks,
-
Bungie's anticheat detected something either in your gameplay or on your rig that it felt it violated the game's policies, it then flagged your account for review, Bungie SRT Staff members then reviewed your account, validated the reason for the flag, confirmed it violated policy, then manually placed the ban. The software listed does not cause bans. The infraction could have taken place anytime over the past few weeks as bans are manually reviewed they are seldom due to the current play session.

When you started. Intent. Threats. Begging. It is all irrelevant. They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you. There is NO course of action to appeal any punishment issued. They WILL NOT lessen or remove any punishment issued for any reason. They've had this no tolerance policy since Day 1 of D1. It won't change anytime soon. The process for BANS and RESTRICTIONS involve reports coming in from players or their flag system towards an individual. The Bungie monkey at HQ reviews it. And they decide if it was warranted or not. Intentionally or not your account broke the rules. Ignorance of the rules doesn't exempt you from them. Your account is done. There is literally nothing you can do about it. So your only two options are to buy the content again or move on. If you pray hard enough maybe just maybe the monkey that runs the BNGSecurity account will care enough to give you an extremely vague reason as to why a punishment was issued. The chances of that happening are slim to none. Here's some examples of other kids who "did nothing wrong" that the BNGSecurity account replied to. http://imgur.com/a/jBV3uqq Pick your poison and live with it

Изменено (Hokies1996): 11/17/2019 8:43:16 PMYou said it yourself. Bungie doesn't allow people to dispute bans. Your post will not accomplish anything.

Doing something once / 1 time does not lead to a restriction or ban unless you are using code injecting software or cheating in some way also having a bad internet connection. Connection based restrictions or bans you are given a warning about your connection first before any restriction or ban is places. Bungie investigates accounts before they hand out any restrictions or bans. After investigating your account, they found a reason. They will not remove this restriction/ban. On the occasions they do respond, the answer will give a date and a very brief reason which will be one of the following below. 1. Cheating 2. Any software being detected by Destiny while it's running. These could include Trainers, Aimbots, Auto-fire, Mods, Graphics Hacks, anything that injects code into games. 3. An unstable connection is having an impact on other players.
