You know, on top of the Free-to-Play Eververse store full of microtransactions, and the Lootboxes (with a separate loot pool, of course) and oh yeah, the Season Passes/Shadowkeep also cost money, because D2 isn't *truly* F2P. It's becoming increasingly obvious that in terms of monetization, Activision was never the problem. Bungie, your greed is showing more than ever. Who honestly cares dude, it’s a game and most of it is cosmetic not even remotely an advantage, the option is there for people who don’t have time to grind out the levels and just want to spend money. Why also why do you care so much not like their spending your money. it’s their money they can do what they want with it

I think a lot of people are missing the point here. If enough people buy the levels then they will increase the grind next season/pass to incentivise more people to spend money. This is an issue that we need to keep an eye on for the next pass. I have just seen this happen on Division 2 with their apparel events. The first event they were generous with the keys acquired per level. Over time this reduced until it was extremely rare. Ubisoft were then caught out and said “oh it was just a bug” and had to adjust the drop rates. (They saw people were not purchasing keys for real money so tried a scummy move).

I mean I don’t get the chance to play enough like others do. But I don’t see myself getting the whole plasticity set. Which I really want.

We live in a time where game corporations like Bethesda, EA, Ubisoft and Activision/Blizzard screw everybody over. No wonder Bungie is flying under the radar, when other so bluntly just grab for cash with complete disregard for quality and ethics.

Money is what helps companies pay for their staff if that’s gone then what’s the point of working for nothing to earn. Bungie should just change the name to Garbo . Management is Garbage led with the big rework no one wanted with the launch of D2 . Ignored players for a year and a half before starting to listen and rework in game stuff back to original D1 style . By then it was to late bled off millions of players . Tripled down on eververse because Fortnite was selling billions in skins . Though Bungies fail Management to dumb to realize , Fortnite is filled with stupid kids who have mommy and daddy’s money . Destiny is filled with veteran gamers who actually have to earn their money and no better than to pay 10-15$ for Pixels ! Keep your skins you turd sniffers ! You want my money ! I want Strikes ! PvP maps ! Missions ! You want to sell me a strike to add to my play list ! I got 10$ for that ! A couple new PvP maps $10 here . Every game that has a season pass tier system allows people to purchase individual tiers, won’t be surprised at all when next season they offer a premium pass that includes 25 tiers. Free money why leave it on the table give streamer and the people with disposable income bragging rights by completing it in 3 minutes of season opening
