A season of Redemption: A cosmetic conundrum.

For the previous entry in this series, see here so for this one I gotta break it down into three categories for each of the three classes finishing off with how we (the community) can help you (the developers) with cosmetics in this game. so now let us start with... Titans: Stop making shoulder pads the size of mini fridges. this seasons Eververse armor is the most EGREGIOUS showing of this. look whatever person you have making Titan armor, before making a final Edit, T-Pose the model, if the shoulder pads clip with the chest piece (or in some cases, the HEAD), shrink them. Yeah I know the big joke is "hur dur titan have big shoulders" but 80% this armor is unreasonably bulky and ugly from a design stand point, we look like Warhammer 40k space marines. Titan marks are mostly fine, I would just love to see more of the "combat kilts" that Destiny 1 had. Hunters: Now Hunters are tricky. A majority of their armor looks good, but many of it is poorly mismatched or has clipping issues, they really just need a little dust up in that regard to fix these minor issues. the biggest gripe i head is people wanting an option to toggle their hood up or down. which their 2 different models already so... just add a Toggle button? Warlock: uh... yeah nothings really wrong here. Warlock clearly got the most love cosmetically and all look like super bad ass Space wizard/scientists/wild west gunslingers (wait isn't that Hunters shtick...) some of the bonds clip weirdly, but that can easily be fixed with some minor tweaks on where bonds are anchored on different models. I know some people don't like how Warlocks look but its clear that cosmetically they got the most love. The Community, and modeling. Now here is the part where if you nothing about Steam, or the steam workshop, you should bow out because A LOT of this is gonna be me talking about it. with that warning out of the way let me begin: hey both the PC and Console community is FULL, and i mean FULL of talented artists and modders who would KILL to have something they made end up in your game. Make a Steam work shop like TF2, Warframe, Skyrim, Xcom 2, Counter strike, Payday 2, Killing floor (1/2), left for dead 2, Portal, and many many more. Curate it carefully (or pick the ones most highly voted on by the community in the workshop), every season pick the best of the best from the workshop and add it to the game, share some of the profits from eververse with the creator who was chosen, and you will foster a relationship with your community that will carry this game forever. I have seen people launch their careers through the steam works shop with their displays of technical know how and modeling prowess, hell some studios have recruited people who made good mods and models. Foster that energy and love for your game with'in the community, please. and that is it for Cosmetics, next time, i will be tackling a prickly subject: The gambler, The Lord, and the Wolf.
