Writing for a friend since he can't post to forums.
Upon completing the tutorial, am I told to find some sort of ship. I follow the waypoint and end up in this small area. Once I get there I get this big gun and then soon after the game crashes showing me Error: Cabbage. When searching about it I was told I must play around with the router settings, but I do not have access to such settings. Also there were other online players with me in the battle, so my internet should be fine.
If anyone can help I would appreciate it as I am literally unable to play the game and have not found a solution yet 😞

Do you have your friends pc specs?

Hi there, Thanks for your report. We'll pass this information on to the developers.

I have the same issue, I changed my router setting but no luck.

I'm having the same issue too. I play the tutorial area, do the "boss" part [good to point out there are always people with me doing it], complete it and it tell me to proceed to find the jumpship. I go to the spot and there's no ship and after a bit it just crashes. I had a couple of time the ghost thing react as if the ship is there and tell me "clear the area" but nothing spawns and just crashes. Another time i go to the spot, marker disappears and again crashes. It keeps crashing right after i complete the boss part and need to go to jumpship with the ship never being there.. I thought maybe crashing after x minutes at first and tried staying near boss.. stayed there fighting over n over for 30 mins with multiple randoms. Eventually went to the jump ship spot, and again, no ship visibly there and a crash. I tried a handful of "solutions" and nothing is working so far.

Be sure to keep the word spread about this. Lots of players are reporting the exact same thing and Bungie hasn't addressed it yet. If you are experiencing Cabbage there, then if you do manage to get past the tutorial, it can happen in many other parts of the game for you too, possibly at random or consistently in the same spots. Every case isn't exactly the same for when it happens, but the effects appear to be the same. There also hasn't been any report of changing your router settings actually fixing the issue, so take their advice with a grain of salt.
