If bringing titans in line, please bring hunters in line.
Giving mods an energy type allows us to limit the scope of combinations
Play your way.

Why the nerf to arguably the worst class in pvp?
-
I thought Taikonaut was gonna make a return...

Back to ignoring the forums for the week again? Lol

I am pretty sureeeeeeeeee, like pretty pretty sure that this is the final year of Destiny :)

For anybody who hasn't noticed. But after this last patch you can now bump your under leveled characters all the way up to 900 light. Bypassing all that boring grind through the story missions for shitty white and green gear. All for the low, low price of 2000 silver. Because -blam!- you, give us money.

Cozmo, thanks for triggering my account greatly appreciated. If you didn't I guess it was just my lucky day. Please consider allowing the old armor sets to have the same stats as the new ones. I miss my IB set already so much. I ground out complete sets on all 3 characters and two on my son's account. The numbers were so low they have become obsolete. Why did we grind three sets of Solstice armor and spend the time master working it when it is obsolete as well? Please consider changes before you make them there are hard core D2 players that spend a lot of time grinding only to find it was a complete and utter waste of time! Not good for the game or the dev's reputation. Remember that passionate feedback from players whether it is good or bad is a good sign. You want a passionate player base, it keeps the game alive. Please consider giving us Luna's and barricade back. Just shorten the time for the reload session. Boss fights have turned into a drudgery and I find players are shying away from upper tier events because of the high rate of rage quitting, which is also not good for the game. TBH I dread playing GP with randoms now because I cant make up for other player low boss dps. I used to be able to tractor cannon and mountain top giving my team a fighting chance. The constant reload of mountain top now makes it a back burner remember the days when this was such a fun weapon to use. Raids used to be a social gathering of varied characters and personalities and now it has become an edgy dread the boss fight mood. I haven't see so many players quit due to time restraints or complete and utter frustration ever in the past 13 months of playing D2. Just something to think about.

My thoughts on the energy armor "reasoning". Before I begin, I do not know the limits to the mod UI. But, I would like to kinda throw out solutions. Really because I just don't like the other excuse as to why they are there. First, why is it not possible to create a sub menu in the mod UI? For example, hovering over a slot gives the primary, secondary, and heavy symbols. I select secondary. Then I'm given two options to hover over, on a new screen. One that has the seconday symbol with a precision symbol over or behind it, and another that has the secondary symbol with ammo symbol over or behind it. Once hovering over the ammo choice, I see the loader mods for secondary's and reserve mods. And hovering over the precision gives me weapon performance mods. In regards to this slowing down the UI. PC won't notice, and it takes 5 minutes to go anywhere on console. They have time to wait through the UI. But instead, I now have to search through each energy type and different mod areas to find a mod. And wind up asking other people where it is. Whom may not be sure, then proceed to look. Trying to play where's the mod at? Talk about time wasting. On top of the fact that the directory already functions super slow. Or slotting chalice or motes for gambit. At least I can find what I'm looking for on those. This energy idea is just inventory wasting and confusing. It needs to go.

All good stuff!!
The biggest reason why mods became unlocks instead of consumables is to encourage players to experiment with perk combinations.
Moved away from consumable mods, good, but slotting mods shouldn’t cost glimmer (it’s the principle of the matter, not the numerical cost). I don’t spend currency in real life when I’m trying on different things to wear when I go out.

Congratulations all you crucible crybabys. Nerfs are coming with more to follow.

Изменено (x-MISANTHROPIC-x): 10/18/2019 12:27:06 PMCertain aspects of armour 2.0 are nonsense. Why, as a hunter, must I have a solar cape to use the recuperation mod? 😆 Seriously WTF?
-
Stacking mods sounds cool. 1.5 buff was something I expected also.

Изменено (Rocket): 10/18/2019 12:01:54 PMThank you for the bottom tree and dawn blade nerfs. Both were needed. 👍
-
Please remove heavy from comp, makes the games boring.

Limit, limit, limit, reduce reduce, control, control, throttle.
We have our eye on One Eyed Mask – expect a change in a future update.
Nerf, nerf, nerfy, nerf nerf. The story of Destiny 2.

@Cozmo I know I'm a clanging cymbal at this point but it has been asked repeatedly, and honestly this should "really" get considered going forward whether it be next console, Destiny 3, at some point, we as fans would like there to actually be separate sandboxes. Not everything functions the same on each and there honestly doesn't need to be generalized changes for both when one works a bit differently on each. It'd be appreciated if, going forward this does happen, please make this known to whomever needs to see it, please and thanks.

Изменено (TJ_Dot): 10/18/2019 1:51:21 AMPretty sure the broad mods existed as a means to account for several weapons at once, not be the taxed version of something if your affinity was wrong. Is this gonna be another Infusion core episode where we say we don't want things this way and get rejected for a year while you spend it trying to make us like it (and still not fix the issue) Choice by restriction is literally a contradiction You're gonna waste time making broad mods when you could just open the gate, affinity sucks, the extra cost of the broad mods is what you pay when you want to kill multiple birds with one stone Who am I kidding, it IS gonna be another core episode. For the love of god just fix it instead of wasting your time. We've been through this before. Good ol' Dev team and their "infinite wisdom".

Nerfed dawnblade? Seems pretty unessassery.
-
When the modding system of warframe, translated into Destiny is done completely wrong.
-
Having the mods require a specific element is just an unnecessary restriction interfering with my ability to experiment and fine-tune my build, as I might want to use weapons of different 'themes' to compliment my play style. One change I'd suggest would be: Change it so the element on the armor to affect how much damage we do with class ability / supers (depending on the tier, and allow for the ability to disable / adjust resistances in PvP without affecting PvE if needed), and how much we receive from that element; and remove the elemental aspect from mods altogether.
-
Everyone should just use their old 1.0 to make a statement. We don’t like it bungie you should have spent all that time you wasted with this junk armor on vendor refreshes new weapons for iron banner and I don’t know maybe bring trials back I mean it’s not rocket science
-
You guys almost have it on Armor 2.0. The affinity is the only thing holding you back. Unfortunately I feel like we had better customization options with 1.0 armor. I want to see this game succeed, but it won’t happen until you start trusting the people that actually play your game.
