Hello,
It's not supported.
You can see compatible games here and I don't see Destiny 2 listed.

A user may still run any Steam game on Proton regardless of the whitelist. Whether or not it launches or functions correctly is another thing entirely. The help article on account restrictions merely now states, separately of the ban on emulation and modified OSes, that "Steam Play Proton: Destiny 2 is not compatible with Steam Play's Proton." Is the separation intentional? Or is the action of using Wine and it's derivatives (such as Proton) still unallowed and this is just clarification? Merely unsupported is very different from bannable offense.

The clarification for your question is here. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/252370462?sort=0&page=0&path=1

Изменено (SilverSynch): 10/2/2019 12:25:28 AMWell, honestly, that only raises more questions. They have edited the post to the new statement and archived the original response, which suggests that the old statement (use of non-Genuine Windows is bannable) no longer applies to the subject (Wine/Proton)? This may require deeper clarification, but I will refrain from testing my luck on PC until this is cleared up.

That's the smart thing to do, and what I would personally do. Players shouldn't do anything unsupported.

My account was hacked recently and transferred the entire destiny 2 profile to someone else's Steam, what should I do? That is, I lost all the progress of the game, how can I remove the binding and cross save from someone else's steam because I did not do this, since my account was hacked, I only returned access to battlenet and bunge.net today PLS help
