Snipers and shotguns definitely do take skill man. I agree with you on OEM and mountaintop but as far as OHK weapons go I think snipers and shotguns are fine.

Hahaha shotguns?
Hahaha shotguns?
In high comp it is all nfs and shotgun skill. There is a big skill to use them right and not keep trading.
-
Hahaha... have you ever played real comp shooters outside Destiny? Shotguns and 1hk weapons are noob choice...
Hahaha... have you ever played real comp shooters outside Destiny? And the weapons being noob weapons are a subjective opinion.

I agree snipers and shottys require skill. I wouldn’t put them in the bucket of “cheese”.
-
Yeah me neither, a lot of what you listed is definitely cheese though

Facts. You on Xbox? Tag looks really familiar

HA ! What are you smoking to think shotguns are skillful ? They are as skill-less as 180 handcannons.

you really think i will listen to someone with 4 comp games played huh

Oh wow you another one of those idiots who think "stats" give some one the right to have a opinion or statement. No wonder you think shotguns are fine you a no life meta sheep. Think any one will listen to some one who has to bring up stats and check stats every time they get into a debate ? No people are gonna think your a idiot and not take you seriously. Try coming up with a actual argument in defense of these over powered shotguns instead of "no comp you opinion doesn't matter".
-
Sure, anyone can have an opinion, but do you think, for example, that more people are going to listen to Barack Obama's opinion on Foreign Policy or yours? Looking up stats is one way to determine someone's "experience" in PvP. Imo, i'd rather listen to someone's opinion on PvP if they have experience in PvP.
-
I will argue with someone who has experience playing with and against shotguns in something other than quickplay. would you argue with someone who doesn’t have a drivers license about road laws? But sure. Ill humour you. Shotguns have a realistic one hit kill distance of less than 7m. With the radar in this game you have no excuse to let someone get that close to you. Shotguns are a high risk high reward weapon type because you have to get right up in your opponents’ faces to use them and anyone with good awareness will not let that happen. Your radar is good enough and primaries kill fast enough that you can stop shotgunners from killing you in every engagement. And no, I am not a meta crutch. Look up my stats, Azusa#11405. I have half as many shotgun kills as sniper. Im just not biased and recognize the skill required to use a shotgun effectively.

Just reading along, i agree to a point shotguns have a skill set to learn, but at this moment we suffer from the same bit as D1 had with shotty's. They have an overextended range, it needs to be shortened once more man. Snipers however, crispy when you get that nice headshot. I've actually tried to get back into sniping.

Изменено (--KNIGHT--): 9/11/2019 2:44:21 PMShotguns are fine and although people complain about them they arent the broken thing right now. The problem is the speed at which guardians can run. A hunter with stompees and big mobility can close the gap between his shotgun and your face faster than your weapon can kill him. This is also why scout rifles, assault rifles and sidearms are lacking so bad in pvp, because their TTK is rubbish (apart from jade, mira and no feelings which are OP) Sidearms suck because of their lack of range. They cant counter shothunners because they need to be in similar range to kill.

Изменено (EXALTEDoreo): 9/11/2019 2:15:50 PMTbh I think snipes could use more flinch. Shotguns are ok where they are now.

Agreed with both
