So I recently bought the Forsaken Annual Pass, as it was on discount. Not only was I denied access from it, but my game is now ridden with constant pop ups that read:
"WARNING
REQUIRED CONTENT NOT FOUND
The Destiny 2: Forsaken Annual Pass requires ownership of Destiny 2: Forsaken. If you have already purchased this expansion and feel you have received this message in error, please visit help.bungie.net."
I do not have Forsaken and this was not a false message. The Annual Pass description only says what is in the pass, and says nowhere that you can’t access the pack without Forsaken. I had to look around reviews very carefully before buying it, and none of them that I saw implied that Forsaken was required, so I bought it. The problem with this is that Xbox has a strict no refund policy, so I can’t refund the game. Only afterwards did I see that it said Forsaken was required in the paragraphs below the game, not even at the top of the stated information. I had to read for a while to find it, and it was right in the middle of all the text.
Now, this is not my main problem. I should have read through it more at the time, although it was very unclear. Bungie, I beg for you to make it more clear in future so people don’t waste their money.
Onto the main problem. As I said before, my game is now ridden with constant pop ups telling me to buy Forsaken. And when I say ridden, I am not exaggerating. I could be walking through the EDZ, Io, Nessus, literally anywhere, even in Strikes and Crucible, and there would be pop ups every 3 seconds on average. They would come in threes, fours, sometimes even groups of up to six at a time. I have to press the B button to close the pop-ups in game, and my ability to even jump is restricted, as pressing A when a pop-up is on screen will send me to a screen to buy Forsaken, which is an extra £35. The pop ups will appear anywhere, in places that don’t even relate to Forsaken at all. I have spent money on a pass I hoped would give me more content, but instead has deprived me of basic game features, such as being able to actually play the game. I can’t even refund the pass due to Xbox’s rules, so I’m stuck with money down the drain and an unplayable game. Can anyone help?

Have you tried going to manage game and uninstalling the annual passes? If you don’t have the licence installed it may stop the pop ups. Then whenever you get the chance to get forsaken (if you do at all) you can just reinstall.
