do the devs realize how demoralizing it is...
...to get ZERO points for losing a Gambit while "legend?"
This is a team game. I cannot help the fact that my team sucks. I finish first or second every time, yet I am being penalized for something I have zero control over. I'm sinking an extraordinary amount of time into this game and getting NOTHING for my time.
It is demoralizing.
9 on my last 12 games have ended in defeat. Most of those were two rounds and out.
It is beyond demoralizing. Please address this very crappy scoring system. If it was Rumble, then I could understand. But it's a TEAM game.
Also, the invader spam....HOLY HELL. The invader can have heavy or a shield. I put three arrows in an invader and he got me with a hammerhead. I'm watching the kill came and he's running around with an arrow in his head. It's a joke.

It's a joke.[/quote] Invading isn't tuned to so that your 1v1 is a fair fight. Its tuned so that a single invader has a fighting chance against a team of FOUR Guardians. Four who may be on headphones, making callouts, and mounting a coordinated defense. Make the Invader any less durable or capable...and you might as well remove it from the game entirely. Which would KILL Gambit. Because all you'd basically have left is nothing more than running a night fall for a score. What needs to happen with invasion is it needs to be less frequent....and less influential. Double the cooldown time between invasions. Cut the mote loss and Primeval healing due to death in half. That TILTS people is that helpless sense of being CONSTANTLY invaded.....and see all your progress washed away (either mote collection or primeval damage) with a team wipe. Especially when you can't stop your team mates from dying.....and 1v1 fights with Invaders can get pretty lopsided.

2 отв.Do the OG, Prime and general Gambit bounties, then switch characters to do them again, and then switch characters the do them a third time; by then, either you’ve won enough games or amassed enough bounty points to offset any solo queue side effects. If switching characters isn’t possible of too difficult, then it’ll just take more time and better luck; either way, you’ll eventually get to 15K. PS: I say this as a person who once lost 14 matches in a row trying to get to 15K; that was before Prime and the general bounties were introduced, so I had less options.

Git gud and carry your team? Jokes aside, I’d just look for a group if you’re really having that much trouble (and you’re out of bounties too). I had a similar issue my first time reaching legend, so I asked a couple clan mates to join on me and we won a few matches in a row and got me my reset.

That’s why you hoard Gambit bounties until you hit the legend rank. Once at legend rank you cash in your bounties to progress and get your reset much faster.

Just do bounties on 3 characters. Once your done stop playing Gambit until the next day’s bounties. Eazy peezy.

Legend is the easiest to climb out of. Just do your bounties and play, the grind for getting to legend is the worse thing.

Do bounties. You can solo queue and focus on them and finish Legend without a single win.

2 отв.After getting breakneck, malfeasance, and a couple of good weapons there's literally no reason to play Gambit. Hush is arguably worse than most other bows in all situations other than boss encounters, and no one in their right mind would plink away at the boss when there are so many better options.

1 ответGambit just becomes a waste of time for me after 2 matches. How did I do 10 in one go for Solstice, I will never know. Sometimes, they just drag on forever, and when you think you've done about 5 matches already, you're still on your first one.

alot of times teammates are being useless because they are trying to complete quests/bounties that dont promote team play at all

You could always lose points on a loss like comp....

Backpocket bounties in the run-up to it. You can clear off easily half of Legend or more straight away.

7 отв.I ground out three resets in one season for that stupid emblem. I wear it proudly, but good lord I am burnt out from playing Gambit.

A lot of people are AFK or just running around enough to avoid getting kicked in Gambit. It is a little irritating when going for triumphs or wins.
