Having same issue on PS4 and not doing any cross save nonsense
-
Try clearing console cache and power-cycle your modem/router.
-
The thing is sometimes it doesn't even try. I power down PS4 and wait ten minutes for extra measure. Reload everything and confirm I'm online. Everything good then go to destiny and it says attention destiny 2 servers are unavailable without a pause. It's immediate like it didn't even try to check with the server
-
Powering down is not clearing cache.
-
Typed that as shorthand. I did everything outlined in bungies copy paste guide they're sharing with everyone reporting this right now
-
First thing tried and have done it four times in last two hours and still not working
-
They it would appear you may want to contact your isp and/or check connection settings. The game on ps is up & running.
-
Every other game I own that's online works. Ps store works. Bungie app works. Only the destiny for me and many others. It seems to have no rhyme or reason as to who's affected right now but this seems to be a real, bungie side problem
-
1. If it was Bungie, then nearly everyone on that platform would be having an issue. Thats not the case, so Bungie is highly unlikely to be having an issue. 2. No other game has the same connection requirements as D2 or D1. Thus, why it’s said time & time again to not use other games as a comparison.
-
But other people are having this issue. It's isolated and not system wide but obviously due to something in the cross save updates or server migration. Half the time it doesn't even attempt a check is the thing. It fails before even trying to connect. I have played a lot of destiny online. I know when bungies servers or mine are down

From console to pc.

Have you tried running scan/repair?
