Change my mind :)

All I’m gonna say is that 98% of pvp streamers/youtubers all play titan

A lot of people like to argue the super aspect of Hunters. Fair enough. Hunters have good supers. And this is a huge thing, definitly. Absolutely cannot argue against this. But their fundamentals are the worst out of all the classes. Their grenades are the worst. Some of them shine in certain aspects, but for the most part, Warlocks and Titans have a lot more utility variety and power with these. Dodge has no team composition for PVE. It is alright in PVP, but so are the other class abilities. They are all just alright. Considering the other classes have more team utility for PVE, their class abilities are better all around. Hunter melee abilities suck in PVP. They just do. Titans can one hit. Warlocks get the range. Speed literally doesn't matter on a melee ABILITY unless you are two hitting someone already, which negates the point of the ability. One subclass doesn't even have a tradtional melee. All classes can soften/melee kill, or double melee trade. Therefore, the actual melee ability of the hunter doesn't do anything to help them. MAYBE disorienting blow, but even then, you have to follow up with another melee or have them already softened up. Titans just ram you one shot. Warlocks can melee outside of the hunters range. Lastly there is the emphasis on mobility, the most worthless stat out of all three. Titans have more ACTUAL mobility than Hunters. They can thrust around the map faster and pressure harder. Warlocks have recovery like crazy. No one can deny this. Playing as a hunter with average 3-4 recovery is AWFUL, but Bungie focuses the class on mobility, which speeds up WALK speed and minimally impacts jump. It is just stupid. If it impacted sprint speed, then they could compete. Very subjective, but their jump is the best. I will say that. Best jump. Overall, if a hunter doesn't have a super ready, they are barely a threat. You don't have to think about their melee abilities. Their grenades can be easily be survivable, and they do not have the recovery nor resiliance to last longer in a gunfight. Put plainly, Hunters have to shoot you first or you have to be bad at aiming to lose. Otherwise they cannot recover any damage while you pressure and cannot take as much damage if you're going toe to toe (which in most cases doesn't impact anything, but there are situations Titans can survive and Hunters cannot). So, yeah, we have the best supers, but it is because we have the worst everything else.

Or state your side first?

Hunters are actually kinda balance right now. Spectral blades is basically ride of iron blade dancer, golden gun has no armor that's why it has a high kill potential, the mid game of way of 1000 cuts is non existent so it is ok for the super to be good (same goes for middle tree arc stricter). I would say is that the only thing we are lacking is a good PvP exotic, and I'm talking about an exotic that can be use with any class like OEM

Sounds like User Error to me.

If you think any of the classes in this game are underpowered you just arent playing them correctly. None of the classes are unplayable or unviable you can play them all very effectively.

Изменено (NicoNekomancer): 8/17/2019 8:55:12 PMMy friend, please start playing a warlock and see how you fare, for it will be far worse than you can imagine. Hunters are the best class to run for pvp and pve (ill get into that in a sec) for they outmatch both titans and warlocks depending on what you are doing and depending on if you count what is broken atm. PVP, now this is were things get fun. ATM bottom tree striker is as op as spectral blades was, and as such we can negate both times they have been op and move on. For a pure super perspective in pvp hunters by far have the best abilities outmatching each and every super with really any they use. Now the nades are lacking, sure, but not meles. In a 1v1 battle against a warlock you will win doing mele only for warlocks have a slower mele time. The other abilities themselves are also great, and doge gives you something no other class gets, Invincibility frames. PVE. You need a hunter for raids and thats that. They have the highest damaging super in the game and are the go to strat for one of the hardest raids in the game due to sheer power. tether is also very important for addclear making the class as needed as a warlock, with well always outshining. Hunters in this aspect outshine titans as you dont need a titan for any raid now. Spectral has its own hammer strike equivalent. All in all the order goes this (as does the player base) Hunters>titans>warlocks no matter how you look at it thats how it will always be

Some trolls just don't even try anymore.

LOL.... NOT
-
Hunters are underpowered when they can go invisible, dodge, golden gun, Quiver, Shadowshot, Orpheus Rigs, reflect projectiles, Wombo Combo, and being the class that has the most tracking grenades.
-
Hunters are underpowered when you (the OP) play them. Sad but true.

Изменено (bronze189): 8/17/2019 8:15:31 PMKinda true considering that both warlocks and titans have 1 hit kill abilities and hunters have 0. Warlock - super grenades and they increase resistance so their is almost nothing you can do to counter, and have a exotic that regens it on hit with hint of rng. Titans- rush and shoulder charge and have a exotic that regens it guaranteed every kill. Hunters- have a throwing knife that kills very rarely on low health baddies, a smoke grenade that impairs players but you can still jump out of it, and a slide melee ability that takes a chunk of health but not much else. Warlocks are probably the best when it comes to easy kills with the grenades as its a ranged attack and it makes you really hard to kill at the same time.
-
I'm with you 100% as far as pvp goes
-
OEM is OP. If they tone down supers such as dawnblade and fists of havoc, and tone down OEM (properly this time), class balance wouldn't be too bad I think. Also consider adding "[PvP]" in your post's title.
-
Hunters are fine right now.

Изменено (Infamous067): 8/17/2019 7:57:39 PMDo you even hunter? I main warlock on console but on pc I main hunter and I feel stronger than any other class because hunters have always had the best neutral game in destiny. Hunter supers are alright but their neutral game is where they shine.
-
I feel pretty powerful.
-
Then why are the majority of top tier players hunters? Why are the majority of players in destiny hunters? Why do have almost as many Hunter kills as I do titan and warlock kills COMBINED?
-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
