What year did you buy your Xbox Ones? Early Xbox Ones tend to have some issues with certain areas of Destiny 2 that was graphics-heavy.
You may want to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]clear your console cache[/url] and check to see if that might help with your issue. If that doesn't work, you may want to uninstall the game, [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]clear your console cache[/url], then reinstall the game.

I'll try a cache clear right before my next attempt at CoS
