And yet all those who wanted to complete it did it.
I did mine with randoms. No mic. No strat. No fail.
Prism and blackout are the only two interesting modifiers.
You guys have no clue how long it took all of us D1 vets to finish our first nightfall.
Mine was Valus, ~90min. I remember getting a helmet I didn’t need.
May be try to play “duck shoot” for some challenge.
PS calling yourself god and complaining over a modifier is so representative of the Bungie crowd it’s quiet hilarious and self explanatory. Thank god there are two modem techniques to earn pinnacle weapons.

-
When nightfalls first came out i completed mine after like 2 and a half hours😂. Almost all of the boss fight was my friend cowering in a glitch spot underneath the servitor boss. All I got were 12 strange coins and ascendant materials lmao. People nowadays are complaining about masterworks that they don’t need dropping.
-
Holy crap man i remember d1 Nightfalls those things were nightmares dude. Satisfying to win though.
-
They were bad at first but you gotta remember how easy it became (in y1) to solo them. You could practically just run by all of the adds, and any adds you NEEDED to kill you could farm with icebreaker/black hammer. Those were the days...
-
Until you got 7 ascendant/radiant shards.
-
We beat it last night .. I told my team then there will be ALOT of complaints about this one ha .. just team shoot the hobgoblins on balcony's they seemed to be the biggest threat .. the only problem I have with this is there is not much incentive to run it with just swords and a legendary ship that can drop
-
And RNG is really low for those making this really effin annoying to grind
-
OH THAT WAS ROUGH
-
I can’t remember what my first nightfall was but I remember getting the last word from it and then testing it out by the entrance to the black garden (not sure why I picked there). Good times.
-
NF? Shit there was the OG heroics that I remember doing because it gave 9 strange coins. That shit was hard af too! I remember needing like 100 fusion kills in a NF to get the exotic auto fusion rifle that dropped from a bounty as a quest randomly. What the heck was its name? Anyway, those Vanilla NFS were hard. And I wasn’t max leveled. Stuck at light level 28 because I haven’t done the VOG yet. Back than you had to run raids to reach max power and have the best weapons. Elemental primaries were special than. Not like now.
-
Damn boi forgot the name of the godliest weapon to ever exist in the Destiny universe.. :/
-
Pocket Infinity. It was one of those things where I just couldn’t remember but of course as soon as I read your post, it came right to me. 🤷♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏽♂️I don’t know🤷♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏽♂️
-
You put some respect on our lord Pocket Infinity.
-
I miss these days so much. I remember going to the tower after finally reaching max light and all the other guardians would flock around you cause they could tell you had done the harder content. Felt good and rewarding. The primaries with elements would be cool to see again to.
-
We already have primaries that are elemental. They just dont go in the top slot. I get what yall mean though.
-
Yeah I mean in the primary slot not secondary slot. In d1 you couldnt have certain guns as secondaries.
-
Preaaaaaaaaaach!!!!🙏👍😂
-
Not only our first D1 nightfall, out first D1 nightfall solo....god the pucker when you've fought for 40 minutes to get to the last boss and you hear that pop of your shied being taken down.
-
Its a good challenge for players who enjoy it. Personally its not a heroic challenge i care for..ill do it to to it. Would be nice if there was a Menagerie exotic to chase or a worthy reward. The normal version is a fin casual mode with a good reward and east crafting system. Heroic a challenge to engaged more hardcore players Win win. Good job bungie. Something i dont say much any more.

Изменено (SneakySquidbert): 6/26/2019 9:47:39 AM
You guys have no clue how long it took all of us D1 vets to finish our first nightfall.
First nightfall was summoning pits, all 3 of us were completely underlevelled. We had two blade dancers that would try and remain invisible for as long as possible, kill a thrall or something, go back to being invisible. One of us left the match about 3 times to go back to the tower and buy heavy synths for the boss. Being terrified of death was great.
-
"I'm just popping out to the shops for some heavy synths". This made me snort tea down my nose.😂😂😂
-
Summoning Pits....if I remember, my mates and I took over an hour to beat it. It was scary fun. Good times indeed. Also used the door slit strat as well while two were on the lookout for roaming surprise ads.
-
This takes me back. My fireteam was the same. We were totally unprepared, but the promise of really awesome loot had us crawling through Summoning Pits, inch by inch. We eventually got to the boss and settled on sitting in the door shooting through that narrow slit where his head occasionally bobbed upward, swapping out to burn our primary ammo down so the game would give us free special and heavy. Meanwhile, the last of us kept an eye out for any surprise adds that sometimes blitzed you. What a -blam!-ing rush it was when we beat that. We felt like kings. Heh. Thanks for the good memory!
-
The memory of "really awesome loot" is what kills me here. Such different times D1 was ;-(
-
Blackout is a BS modifier. They should go back to how it was in D1 with it being 2 seperate modifiers, chaff and lightswitch. There really is nothing interesting about them combining the two.
