Personally, I’ve found cores easier to come by. The gunsmith bounties grant 3 per day, plus two extra from two weekly bounties. I’ve also seen them drop a bit more frequently. I’ve done maybe one or two spider bounties and I’ve probably gotten 40-50 cores in less than two weeks. At the beginning of this time period, I had 0. They definitely feel more common than they were. But this is my experience, perhaps RNG has been nice to me with the random core drops.
