Disagree.
Y1 players before the infusion change were used to a certain system. We could infuse whatever we want, but masterworking was what we would be smart about. We'd choose carefully.
New Light players aren't going to be used to that like we were. They're going to know this system from the start, they're going to be used to it. And they're probably going to be smart for it too.
And unlike us, they don't need to adapt or get used to it. Because they didn't know what it was like before infusion became a smart choice.
If anything, they're just going to copy us and go "REMOVE CORES!"
Which we should totally keep doing.

Or they just quit cause they figured out its the stupidest thing in the the game and not worth the trouble
-
Didn't the games player base rise? I'm seeing a lot of "MILLION PLAYERS" articles and vids, which I'm proud of. I love destiny after all.
-
Yeah until they realized that they have to log daily for cores and the question should be how long can bungie maintain that million player base?
-
The same way they've managed to hold on to the playerbase for 5 years despite all the crap they've put us through. Combined with the absolutely incredible changes they're doing to Destiny as a whole now that they've gone independant. Seems like the future is good so far. Only time will tell if it ends up good of course, but im pretty hopeful. For like the 3rd or 4th time.

Way more Money come from the casuals not the vets and I agree I think they are looking better but new games are coming too don’t forget that

New games were what supposed to have killed Destiny, but for some reason, it has survived. I'm still surprised it survived through such fantastic games. We're bloody loyal I guess. It's going up against Borderlands 3 in the fall and it's the one time where Bungie's sales will be lower than they want them to be. They're going up against the original looter shooter after all.

Unfortunately I think you're right although they will find it frustrating nonetheless.
