Both PvE and PvP would be better without these braindead "mechanics." PvE would require more thought and good aim to properly DPS bosses and clear ads, and without supers, the much hated "boss stomp" mechanic wouldn't have to exist at all. Bungie would also not have to design encounters around them, allowing for more creativity. PvP would be infinitely more fun and less frustrating without free kills and unavoidable deaths, especially in modes like countdown and survival where a single super can determine an entire round.
