Bungie hates high skill play
There are so MANY mechanics built in the engine to handicap good players
Gun changes and damage changes won't change these mechanics unfortunately
Ppl are often focusing on the wrong issues

Изменено (Seiryoku): 5/23/2019 5:26:52 PMI think that is heavy handed. Limiters must be set in place on some things and not others to have diversity. Somethings will inevitably be more powerful than others, as they should be, depending on how they are achieved. But this is blaming Thorn. And they were afraid of the naysayers and whiners ruining interest in the game. So they handled its perk very carefully. I will give them that. I didn't mention it. But they made it a 150. That is why we are here today.

Never. It's player vs player. Not player vs mechanics If u need help in a 1v1 by the use of mechanics, u aren't skilled and are a noob Ur aim, reaction time, game sense, and playstyle should determine if u come out on top of engagements NOT bloom, needlessly high recoil, mobility handicaps, airborne inaccuracy, and all too similar weapons Just for the sake of giving bad players a chance If ure awful, it's ur fault. Either put in the time or own up that u are awful and don't try to blame other things

Изменено (Seiryoku): 5/23/2019 5:42:23 PMDo you love 150s? You seem passionate about the subject. I'd like to see you fend off multiple rushing dustrock Luna/nf combo prevalent in comp with your Thorn or Spare Rations. The days of us enjoying midnight coup have long since passed and you're offending at least 100 that agree that bloom on console for 150s is off at best.

I love the 150s Jack King queen is my absolute fav Ure thinking in very simple terms, a tiny insignificant band aid solution to what the actual issue is I already stated what bungie has done to hinder high skill play for the sake of casuals 140s,150s, and even 110s all have bloom. Many other weapons have insane bloom, for lack of a better word, while in the air or mobile Insane flinch, high recoil, and bloom aren't showcasing a players competence They're to help out a noobs lack of skill or intelligence if u want honesty
-
You made one statement and then contradicted yourself, so don't know what your stance is. There are either mechanics in place to hold down the skilled player or it is not a problem and guns are designed to help noobs. I don't understand what you're trying to say here.

U don't even know how these mechanics work do u? U think I'm talking about a simple weapon archetype? Like honestly? That's all u got? I've talked about the mechanics being the real issue. Not a small bloom feature in one class U talk about 150s. I merely pointed out the engine wide mechanics determining the behavior and other major issues hindering high skill play These mechanics have been put in to help out awful players. Not good players, that's why the skill gap is so low and destiny was never considered viable for esports. Only the casuals blindly believed that I didn't contradict myself, u can quote me directly if u really eant to make a valid point. Not vague assumptions MANY have already pointed out these issues, bungie has defended these mechanics for the sake of giving casuals a chance....yet u think a single 150 feature is a concern?

This isn't about fixing the entire sandbox at large by removing a series of features or mechanics. I made a point about Thorn having suffered from its status as a 150 and the pace at which it much be shot to remain accurate, which will often leave your average user up a creek without a paddle in the face of one such as yourself. Aggressive with a pinnacle that fires at a higher rpm that kills in the same number of bullets when the 5 second perk isn't active. How is it that you as skilled player are kept down by the mechanics you mentioned, but they aid the "noob"? I'm not slinging insults or calling you ignorant. I'm saying I don't understand your stance.

Mechanics dictate all, the bloom feature coupled with insane compounding flinch, needlessly high recoil, and pointless recoil animations covering ur target are what is causing the issue. Not just Thorn, or 150s. Many guns are affected for a reason It's system wide. Bungie purposely ignores these posts for a reason The engine is incredibly inefficient and takes forever to make numerical setting changes These mechanics are put in to handicap good players. Bungie wanted it very casual friendly and accessible. They went about it horribly and drovr both hardcore and casuals away in their lame attempt U CANT make an impact unless u call out these mechanics. It's going to be more work to make an exception in this sandbox than to alter the mechanics underlying it all They will and have ignored thousands, yes thousands, of similar posts. If i were in their position, i would to. I would feel like these posts are ignorant and serve nothing more than to spread negativity

Изменено (Seiryoku): 5/23/2019 6:57:23 PMOk. So you don't work for Bungie? Cause you sound very confident about the foundations of the code of the game and their reasons for why everything is the way that it is. If you want those underlying mechanisms to be expunged, shouldn't you go make your own thread about that? I personally want to see Thorn improved immediately, which is why my post is about Thorn. How ever they adjust the sandbox is their business. I can only offer one humble man's opinion of the 150s as a whole and how I think it's negativity impacted a fan favorite before we got to use it... On console.

I can program and write code, i love reading about these engines and how they may go about it. Bungie devs have stated what i said a few times when answering ppls questions about why some things aren't changing or what's going on I love the 150s more than 140s or 180s Thorn is no exception But unless u want a real major change with support from the community. U have to ask for changes that are the underlying cause for the bloom and inaccuracies Asking for a difficult band aid will be ignored if the cut (mechanics) are the real problem Removing these mechanics will do wonders in both pve and pvp. The only reason they exist is to help bad players stand a chance in 1v1s or 2v1s against good players. Their words

Изменено (Seiryoku): 5/23/2019 7:47:14 PMI do not expect this to have any immediate change to the gun. Merely having them aware that this is something a fair amount of people are still impassioned about is more than enough for me. If I even got the response it would be, "we are looking into this." Now as intelligent as you might be, you came to insult others rather than offer the insights you think have been limited to you, because me and others of a similar opinion make threads about the "wrong things". I appreciate your coding knowledge, despite not having worked on Destiny 1 or 2.. but again, I'm talking about Thorn and you could start your own feedback thread about the underlying mechanics plaguing the sandbox in your mind.
