There’s really not much else to say... I don’t know why I feel so idk.. defeated, but I do.
I think with this latest round I saw just how little Bungie gives a -blam!- about us.
This latest announcement of nerfs really has kind of killed my spirit for playing Destiny. I mean I literally just masterworked my Whisper yesterday. The fact they already nerfed it before hand and didn’t make the heavy pickup 3, but 2 was annoying, but I dealt. Now it’s dead.
I feel like every time we speak out about something they just steam roll us. Idk, I don’t want to sound like one of those ppl, but heh, if they do through with this I really don’t think I want to play anymore. I really feel like bungie could give a shit about us or our opinions. As long as we keep our heads in the sand and keep playing they’ll keeping on going the way they’ve been.
Longer than I wanted, sorry about that. Just... really don’t feel good about this. :\

I’m sorry, but if you guys are leaving just because one weapon got nerfed (and it’ll probably still be VERY good mind you) then that’s just sad
-
The sandbox team is a bunch of -blam!-ing morons

Изменено (Eververse): 5/18/2019 1:49:42 PMMaybe in another life time y'all will wake the -blam!- up to this. Bungie did the exact same stuff in Destiny one, history literally repeated itself. "We don't want to make your favorite things useless"....nerfs everything to shit, dumb -blam!-s that don't play the game say adapt and turn around and crying when they get killed, y'all get hyped about another dlc. On and on and on. You all have to change because bungie won't. When they said "Our Destiny" they weren't including you. "We hear you" simply means "I acknowledge you are there". Not "your opinion means everything". Most things they've done show you your just along for the ride. You have no say in the destination. Edit: outbreak is next so no one should act surprised when they nerf it. Last time saying this.

so ghaul did win after all.
-
We have to wait until they say " we may have overshot the changes, Sowwy"
I really don’t think I want to play anymore. I really feel like bungie could give a -blam!- about us or our opinions.
They want us to play how they want. I get it(to an extent...): they take time to make new stuff, and everyday someone complains about it and calls them names(pvp) or someone finds a workaround that wasn't intended, that negates their intended play design(pve). Then Bungie flexes it's big brain by making difficult raid mechanics or quests like Niobe Labs/Outbreak Configuration, and then punish us for using the same loadouts/methods the streamers whose videos we have to watch to complete those encounters use. When you look at the completion percentages for "endgame" activities, such as raids, and see only 1-2% of the entire player base completes those activities, maybe they feel like their hard work isn't noticed. They blame us for finishing activities too quickly and not playing how they want, not for making something the average person doesn't have unlimited time to sink in to with 5 other people (who have to make time, watch the video, have certain loadouts/classes, practice a few times, attempt and wipe X00 times) to attempt to complete. Maybe they feel like their hard work isn't appreciated, but if it wasn't nobody would have bought The Taken King, The Dark Below, Rise of Iron, Destiny 2, Forsaken, etc... I know I appreciate the hard work. Every time they make things a little bit harder; and every time more people stop playing. So is it the players fault for wanting to play a video game and have fun, or the developers fault for pushing people away with some of their more punishing game design and not playing how they want?
-
I currently have my son completing my Crucible matches for the invitation. I just want to see the end. I don’t care anymore.
-
My friend recently got back into the game (He was a huge D1 fan but dropped Destiny after D2 CoO) and just finished the last part of the Catalyst. He was really liking the weapon and the game...until yesterday. He’s basically ready to leave again.
-
I finally finished my Momento to Cayde look on my hunter I'm super proud of it. I don't know anything else to do though. I have 0 excitement for Season of Poverty and now even less thanks to the nerfs. I was gonna skip Day One of it but I might just skip it all together.
-
I don’t mind the Nerfs to the Armor. As long as when they are used to their potential they give 7+ orbs of light for my team mates. They better tweak the orbs generated to account for the super regen nerf........they should have thrown some numbers at the armor, let us know how bad it’s going to be. But I guess they will let the Streamers know before us so they can get them to nerf even further. Those -blam!- will say the game is too easy for them regardless............plus most play on PC where they have the FOV advantage, no recoil etc etc.
-
Yeah I'll get the Xur Invitations done, but can't really be asked with the next Season.
-
Borderlands 3 will have guns with legs. Guns that you can reload by throwing them like grenades. Gearbox is run by a raving lunatic yet still understands that a looter-shooter needs guns and gear that are fun. The nerfs make these exotics less fun. The grind for the Whisper was meaningless... From now on whenever I see a long, convoluted grind for something I'm going to wonder how long before it gets nerfed and should I waste my time with it.
-
I was gonna get back into the game but now, what’s the point.
-
Honestly, there is no point in trusting anything Bungie says these days. They told us in the past, we done with nerfing guns, now they back to nerfing weapons in masses. They don't care about the community since they already got our money. They can do whatever the hell they want.
-
Masterwork cores killed my spirit. This announcement took any good will I had left towards bungie and put a clip in its brain. Fuk bungie, fuk destiny, fuk their precious balance
-
if you play this game everysingle day. you probably do not have a spirit so. be gone :D

Изменено (Pfc Snafu): 5/19/2019 10:17:02 PMSomeone could do a Doctoral thesis on what happens when little Baby Gamers grow up without ever setting foot outside and playing real team sports in the real world and learning abstract principles such as: Fair play Fair go Fair trade Fair Compensation Fair Consequences They end up being adults with the emotional maturity of 7 year old entitled snowflakes having no idea that their distorted world-view has nothing whatsoever to do with the real world - or common sense. Somebody came up with the idea for Exotic weapons and their unique perks; perhaps someone else came up with the [often] ludicrous multi-step quests; perhaps someone else in R&D figured out damage output, etc.; someone else 'tested' it and our New! Shiny! Improved! Super Mario brothers Ferrari/Lamborghini/Bughatti Über weapon is ready for us 'consumers' to chase after. And then [perhaps] an entirely different team of clueless code monkeys treat all our effort and time spent acquiring said Über weapon by unilaterally deciding that it is too OP and must be nerfed by using pretzel logic comprised of nonsensical word salads. (If that were true, how did it get into 'production'?) E.g., "we have decided your Ferrari is too fun/cool/powerful/fast and so we're disabling 3 engine cylinders so that you will burn 3x the petrol as you race against Toyota Corollas at Le Mans." No refunds. On the other hand, it seems obvious that the corporate structure of Bungie has created a civil war against itself between brilliant 'developers' who have created some amazing imaginary worlds and clueless code monkeys that have no idea what 'Indian giver' means - and no, that's not a racist taunt, but a historical reference to white Americans promising something to the Natives, but taking it away soon thereafter. It would seem that the code monkeys are winning - no doubt because they have been Loyalists the longest and have long since been promoted far, far above their level of competence.

The thing you are describing is the root of the problem. Players fall roughly into two categories: 1. Those who play for the moment. They don’t care what weapons or gear they have, they live in the “now” and don’t think beyond that. The fun for them is the experience. 2. Those who play for progression. These players want to improve their character, to grow in ability and power. Even if the moment they are having right now isn’t fun, it serves a purpose and will be done. What we have here is Bungie making changes that benefit the first category at the expense of the second. Here is why that is wrongheaded; experience players only play content that pleases them at the moment. Progression players will play modes they dislike IF it results in character growth. So? Simple. You can’t get a player base comprised mostly of experience players to populate all the modes sufficiently. You need progression players for that, and Bungie is chasing them off.
-
Imagine having such a frail spirit that a few nerfs make you quit your hobby.
-
You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold

Изменено (GaryClint): 5/20/2019 12:53:45 AMIt definitely hurts. The only thing keeping me going is the Outbreak catalyst. If/once it is nerfed, I’ll probably be finished with it. They already have my money for the Season pass so they have already won.
-
Изменено (Snez): 5/19/2019 12:36:55 PMThey try to please us for the money they don’t care, just like epic games with expensive and pointless micro transactions they’re in it for the money, I think we all need to realise this and move tf on. WE CANT KEEP GIVING THEM MORE CHANCES, THEY HAVE HAD THEIRS!!! Opulence will come along and it’ll be the same scam, hyping it up until we realise how dead and disappointing it is.

Bungie is quick to nerf, but take forever to buff things.

Was playing other games for 2 months , started playing last week . Logged on today did 1 public event and was done and really don't know if I'm going to pay after the 4th...... Also , I'm done criticizing bungie , offering other points of views I realized that talking to bungie is like arguing with a communist , at the end of the day they still want to kill about 10 million people.....
-
The problem is . 80% of all these nerf is about PVE , okay a lot people plays PVE and its right this nerf was exaggerated too much. But bungie in all the updates it demonstrates more that it does not give the minimum for the PvP. I understand you when u say ''don´t feel good abou this'', but you need to see de PvP side too, every season we want some balance on the matchmaking ,some balance on the guns to improve more competitive games, anyway thats it !
