It’s so sad to see the only mini-gun in the game do so little damage to everything in PVE. It’s fine in PVP, but it needs help in PVE. My suggestions for buffing are: Increase damage against PVE enemies by 50 to 80%, or Triple it’s PVE damage by making it a special weapon, and making it same damage as Trace Rifles, or make it a machine gun with same damage per shot as hammerhead in PVE and same damage per shot as 21% Delirium in PVP. These are just some suggestions for improvement, and they may not be perfect, but I hope this will start a conversation of how to buff it.

6 отв.Give it a new perk for its catalyst where kills restore a percent of the magazine and also grant it overflow. 200 round magazine would be pretty fun.

3 отв.Buff/Rework. Made this post awhile ago and it sadly didnt get a lot of attention Current Perks (Intrinsic) Payday: Larger Magazine. Increased accuracy while firing from the hip. Business Time: Holding down the trigger boosts this weapons range and rate of fire, and automatically loads ammo pickups into the magazine. Catalyst: While fully spun up this weapons gains reduced flinch Issues with “Payday”... Even though it has 99 bullets to fire it still runs out very quickly and its damage is not good at all. For taking out minors its great but when you do higher level activities then its not too great. Also hip firing anything in Destiny is a bad idea lol, especially with this gun because the recoil is so high. Issues with “Business Time”... Holding down the trigger and having it shoot faster makes sense and thats not really an issue besides it should spin up WAY faster, the increased range is fine though. The automatic ammo pickup only works if you are fully spun up which is great an all but... not really. Issues with Catalysts... Reduced flinch... Wow. Catalysts are suppose to make the gun better at what it already does and reduced flinch doesnt really help at all. “Payday” Buff This weapon has an overheating system that allows you to fire 150 bullets until it needs to cool down for 5 seconds.( can hold down the reload button to cool it down faster to 2 seconds) “Business Time” While fully spun up bullets have a chance to do a minor explosion if shot into an enemy, getting a kill while fully spun up “auto” cools the gun down by 5 bullets. Or While fully spun up bullets have a chance to split into multiple bullets to hit multiple enemies(while not losing any damage) getting a kill while fully spun up “auto” cools the gun down by 5 bullets Catalyst Buff Increases the “auto” cooldown to 10 bullets when killing an enemy and grants 15 stability and 15 range to the gun. In general the guns damage needs to be increased by a bit to help out with taking shields/ and majors down a bit easier. Also the time to fully spin up needs to be removed or dramatically reduced. Reason for this post: I remember seeing this gun in the trailer for Destiny and using it in the beta and I loved it but it was never really good at what its suppose to do which is killing a lot of enemies with a lot of bullets, like a mini gun is suppose to be like. I really want this gun to be amazing for PvE activities and right now its just not good except for the minor activities, which is the case for many exotics. Plus its a freakin mini gun LOL. I want this gun to be a Titans dream gun. Titan Exotic Helmet Helm of the Light Bearer Perk: Shatterproof - Getting a kill grants a fourth of an over-shield for 5 seconds stacks up to a full over-shield. Getting kills while any “tier” of shield is active refreshes the shield and refreshes the timer. Each “tier” increases damage for your primary weapon by 5%. Total amount of damage increase is 20% if you have a “tier 4” shield.

Sweet business catalyst needs to be changed honestly. It's so underwhelming, just give me the full 999 rounds in one mag and be done with it.

Works just fine for me. Got almost 20k kills on mine now. The catalyst was worth it for the orbs, I often have people comment on the insane amount of orbs I can make from it with trash mobs. It also never runs out of ammo, so I use it for Calus and save all energy and power ammo for DPS. Personally I love how it is now. It definitely felt the auto rifle buff from a bit ago. More damage would be good, but it most certainly does not need it. I would love everyone to have a chance at the catalyst though, seems lame that I am almost the only person who has it...

Make it solar, and rebalance it as a heavy machine gun. That's my idea for buffing it, and maybe make its round do dot damage, or something exotic worthy

1 ответThe catalyst is disappointing and the gun is mediocre. I haven't even finished the Catalyst yet, 'cause that's how mediocre it is. Catalyst needs a rework that gives it a rampage that lasts as long as rampage + rampage spec mod.

I really love Sweet Business, and i am quite sad this weapons does not have the love this weapon should have. Despite that this is a primary, and nowadays they are quite weak against elites and bosses, this is true for all primaries. I like its current state, but the idea to increase its damage and make it use special ammunation is actually quite interesting. This is clearly a clever demand.
