REMOVE. CORES. FROM INFUSION. COSTS.

Seriously. Adding more ways to get Cores doesn't fix the problem. If anything it makes the problem worse by adding more things for the more casual players (Aka, the ones who don't have many cores) more things to do and pulls them away from their normal questing and missions and increasing their power level. Having increased the glimmer AND planetary materials need for infusion ON TOP OF adding Masterwork Cores to the mix has made the infusion system horrible. I can't infuse the weapons and armor i like to wear because I'm out or low on cores and I'm forced to wear a stupid looking armor set and weapons that are horrible. You say you're listening, but you don't care about what we're ACTUALLY saying. We, as players, know the real problem. And we know the REAL solution. And that is to remove cores from infusion costs and have them ONLY be used for MASTERWORKING WEAPONS AND ARMOR. That was their intended use from the start, and it should stay that way.

    The only meaningful thing they can do with cores for "Enhancing" would be to use them to unlock mod slots, go back to the old way of unlocking perks on the guns, or use cores to unlock level caps in each season for older gear. There is no reason to keep them for basic infusion. This would encourage playing with uncapped new gear(if they make enough) and make your choice of weapons to bring forward the tough choice. The unlock would be a one time cost each season. After unlock, the icon would switch to the new season's icon and you can infuse again and without core cost. Imagine enhancing your weapons with cores for mod slots. Each weapon/armor could have a green, blue, purple tier mod slot to prevent stacking OP mods. Exotics could have a final catalyst unlock that adds to the weapon's power instead of the slight bump to stats. Instead of just extra range or stability, you could unlock explosive rounds on Sweet Business, jumping seekers on Colony, or hold the reload button to change Cold Heart's element.
