Class: Keter Containment Procedures: SCP-025 is to be kept in Site OT in a 100 by 50 foot field. Mesh barriers must surround the field at all times, and 20 foot tall walls are to be placed around the perimeter of the field as well. Supervision of SCP-025 is only to be done through security cameras. A journal and a pen are to be placed for use inside the containment area. In the case of an outbreak, subject is to be tracked via GPS and returned to the site by at least two Class-A personnel. Lethal weaponry is not authorized to be used against SCP-025. Description: SCP-025 is a member of an unidentifiable species of extraterrestrial descent that is humanoid in nature save for its appearance and behavior. Subject seems to have three rows of teeth in the place of normal teeth, claws in the place of nails, and a scaly outer membrane in the place of an epidermis. SCP-025 seems to enjoy human activities, namely writing. While not being able to pronounce the human languages, subject can write in English and from its journals can be seen writing about its “home planet”. One of the excerpts is shown below. [/quote] The rest of the page was torn and found to be crudely destroyed. Subject’s nature is extremely aggressive, and constantly it tries to break containment. Any human in its sight will cause SCP-025 to fill with hatred. SCP-025 also seems to talk during its hibernation period, spanning only two days long during the winter. Abnormally, SCP-025’s speech does not appeared to be garbled during this hibernation period. SCP-025 came to the foundation’s attention after reports by many locals in [REDACTED], Texas of a “lizard man”. Reportedly, 13 people were found missing before SCP-025 was contained.
