Years ago my little sister was choking on her food. She was coughing heavily and my mother had to pat her on the back. Because I knew it was serious I walked into the room. As I came in the room filled with darkness. It was like a dark fog falling from the ceiling with the speed of a feather that floats to the ground. The occurence lasted about 2 seconds. I guess it was over when my sister was fine again. No one but me saw it.
Sometimes I think of this and now I googled if anyone made a similar experience. I found the report of a nurse saying she saw a dark, thick rolling fog when she entered the room of a patient and she too thought it was death. She said the patient died later that day. I can link the source if wanted.
My sister is still alive. Maybe death was there because it expected to get her. If it was death. I never saw this before and never again after.
I don't know if it was death but I know that what I saw was real.
I want a scientific explanation. I was not in a panicking or scared state, just worried. My mind was clear, not under the influence of an adrenaline rush, medicine, drugs, alcohol, sickness or anything else.

1. You either saw an apparition. Or. 2. People sometimes experience a tunneling effect on their vision at times of stress.
-
Not exactly about what you're asking, but this is probably the best explanation for any memories you have.
-
Basically what Ajax said, you may have almost fainted. Your vision went funny and your mind was clear, fainting is due to a lack of oxygen in the brain so you may not have been thinking properly, your vision also goes funny when you faint.
-
Maybe changes in air pressure/temp caused ur vision to be distorted momentarily. Alternatively if youd been sitting down for a while and got up it may have been a sudden blood rush to ur eyes which distorts vision as well (when standing up).

Your sister was choking to death and your mind was clear? Are you certain? Seems like a stressful moment for anyone, much like the day can seem brighter after receiving some incredible news, it's darkened by bad or scary news.
-
did your sister change in any ways? such as her overall mood?
It may have been Dagoth Ur's messenger
How old were you? I think as young kids we sometimes hallucinate. Our minds are still developing. I still have this weird, vauge memory of looking up at the sky and seeing something like a rock like an asteroid go sailing by overhead. It wasn't fast or bright like one would be, but like a neighbor flung a boulder from a catapult over the subdivision. Weird. Maybe I was dreaming but I don't think so.

Изменено (pValue2010): 12/2/2018 6:32:56 PMYour perceptions are controlled by your brain. Something chemical/psychological could be a likely explanation. Couple that with our poor ability to recall accurate memories, especially in stressful situations. Jumping to a supernatural explanation, one that has no evidential backing, seems premature. And if you don’t have an explanation, that doesn’t make a make-believe thing plausible. People like to have explanations for everything, but “I don’t know” is an honest and acceptable answer. (Glad your sister’s ok)
-
Plausible scientific reason I can think of, high stress situations can lead to all sorts of odd things including hallucinations. I mean, your sister almost dying would definitely be panic inducing. Also might have been on the brink of passing out. That would definitely make things go dark.
-
Why would other people, not the person dying, see death? It's not a logical debate to start with but that makes no sense. People who have actually died never experience anything, yet a bystander somehow watches death descend on a person who isn't gonna die. NOPE.
-
Get me the drugs you were on pronto. Need sum of dat gud shit
-
It wasn't me.
-
When this dark fog fell was it followed by the feeling of nausea or did your head feel like it was being crushed or strained?
-
You either have a gift or a disorder. Spiritual gifts do exist in my honest opinion but so does schizophrenia.
Don’t worry about it though schizophrenia can also a trait of an ingenious mind
-
Momentary loss of blood pressure due to mild shock in a very tense situation caused your vision to go blurry a little bit. You were probably too focused on your family at the time to notice any other symptoms. You may have also felt faint, dizzy, or been unable to move your body during those couple seconds as well.
-
...you saw me in your dreams...
not included in the dlc
-
The idea that death is some bloke who runs around offing people is more absurd than the fantasy of the chimney-sliding fat man.

Изменено (BADMAGIK): 12/2/2018 2:23:43 PMSorry, I was in the other room that day. I ate some raunchy pizza for lunch and I had farted. I didn't mean to alarm anyone so I stayed quiet.
