Hi and thanks for your report.
We are tracking an issue with players who have Technicolor and Thompson routers and the CABBAGE error. There seems to be an issue with the security configuration on these routers and connecting to Destiny properly.
Some players have found a fix for this issue by following the steps in this thread or in this thread.

I have a Netgear router and yet I still get the lettuce and cabbage error codes. Is there a work around for Netgear besides port forwarding?( I've done that already)
-
I don't have much information about Netgear routers, other than our Advanced Steps Networking Guide for information about Port Forwarding.

this is not working....

@BNGHelp6 after working with a bunch of people who have had these dreaded errors and also Technicolor and Thompson modems ... I think the actual problem lies in the VOIP portion of the modem FYI. I don't know if your tech team has looked into it but from what I can tell, the router designates the ports required and normally used by Destiny to the VOIP along with prioritizing the VOIP traffic over net/gaming traffic. I was hoping I could pass this along but there is not going to be any specific way you all can resolve it long term as it seems like every time the ISP pushes a firmware or even config files, it defaults back to the standards that again block traffic.

Our team has investigated this and also determined that this was a security issue with the router. There's nothing that we can actually do about modem security, which is why I suggest the threads above because they at least offer a solution for some people, and our Networking Guide is too general to help with certain routers.

I wasn't trying to say there was anything you can do about it, I just thought I would pass along what I had encountered with it so maybe they could put together a comprehensive help page about those specific modems.

Thanks for the copy pasta but I've tried every possible "fix" over the last year, all I have left to do is replace my router.
-
Wish I could be more help. That's all of the information I have regarding CABBAGE and Technicolor routers.

Not a pasta, I appreciate the human-beingness
