well thats better than the 114 it took me to get dfa

60% of the time it works every time

If it takes 10 days for a single square of miracle grass to grow the entire length of your lawn, how many days will you save when you have two squares of miracle grass?
-
If you have two lawns, then you save no days Unless you compare it to the time before the new grass. Then which the comparable change can be calculated. Nevertheless, should you have a lawn of differing dimensions, that’s a while other realm...

So if I need to travel 50 feet to get closer to a reward and my first step is 3 feet but each successive step is half the distance of the previous step then I will eventually get the reward? Alrighty then, I best be gettin’ a steppin’.
-
Technically, you may never get there. Imagine being half a millionth of a nanometer from your goal... only to never get it.
-
So close I can almost touch it. Wait , I meant so close can almost smell it. Nope that’s not it, so close I can almost hear it. Alright now, who moved the light at the end of the tunnel? I just saw it a second ago.

You really got out the calculator just for this post didn’t ya?

Pencil and paper baby!

That explains why 0.5 doubled becomes 0.1...

That was a typo I didn't notice...

To be honest, I would be fine with 20 Strikes being the max.
-
I think 20 would still be to many to get to a guaranteed drop. Let's assume about 18 minute average for a Nightfall. Your looking at 6 hours plus travel time, so about 7 hours of none stop Nightfalls to get to a guaranteed drop. That seems a little excessive for time investment to me.

You ever try to get a Cobra in BL2?
-
Изменено (Seraphim Crypto): 10/30/2018 10:13:51 PMStop that. Getting that thing was horrifying. What was it, 0.08% each time a Burner drops a Sniper Rifle? I was so glad when they made it a guaranteed drop during their Loot Hunt Event. The only Cobra I ever got.
-
Something ridiculously low like that. I kid you not I grinded forever for that damn thing before finally getting one to drop.
-
Though you have to remember that you have the entire week for these seven hours. That would be one hour a day, plus you may go faster as you would not have to go 100k points for the guaranteed drop. So you could just mash through and shave off minutes in each Strike. If you really want the gun, you probably can play the Strike for an hour each day. Of course 10 would sound better... much better than the 80 I did for D.F.A., and I still don't have that gun. Maybe it even transfers over to the next week the Strike becomes available. Don't know the specifics.
-
I very much doubt that the chance increase would go up to a 100% drop after X amount of strikes. Knowing bungies usual bs it be a 0.4% chance increase after 50 strikes or something equally ridiculous.
-
Oh I know, will never make it to 100%. I was at work and bored.
-
Guess we will see in time how the drops are affected.
