So not sure if this was brought up or not but if K/D could be shown with or without KDA as a post game stat....that'd be great. Not even sure why the reason a straight forward KD stat is not posted. Competitive or not KD and assists should be posted separately to see what you actually did. KDA is misleading. I talked to a few players about it, they seem to agree. If anyone else has thoughts on this topic, comment. It's a small detail but I think it's a pet peeve for a lot of players. Bump if you agree.

10 отв.Tbh kda is a much better indicator for all play style types, and is imo, a better reflection of overall skill. I dont see how a kill shot is more important than the damage leading up to it in a team shot situation. If two teammates are shooting one person, they both cant get the kill, but neither damage tally is more/less important. Also in many situations rushing or baiting is more important, when trying to draw out or advance a gameplay strategy. This happens many times in my fireteam where I push or draw fire and allow my teammates to get easier kills. The kda helps reflect team based skill in addition to individual skill. Could my KD be higher? Sure if I played more cautiously, or didnt play the objective, or didnt care about winning. I guess different strokes for different folks. I dont care enough about muh k/d to play every game mode like clash and not have any team based strategy.

It’s for when you get them guys with 0/10 but 5 assists and it shows 0.5 efficiency. Doesn’t look as bad does it?
-
When job applications/interviews start asking for it, then and only then will it matter. If you don't believe this, try bringing it up at your next job interview.😉

I mean, KD is important for things like Clash and Rumble, but you can also easily get a kill stolen only to get an assist even though you may done the major amount of damage that lead to your target's defeat. They wanted the focus to be on team play in this game even if people hated the "teamshot" meta. People were actually helping with kills and supers more than in D1, and while I dislike the Ttk, I've noticed people have kinda gone back to not really helping and just doing what they want instead. I don't care about my KD. I want the enemy team dead, and I don't care how.
-
Dude just kill people. I have Luna's and Redrix and my KD is probably horrible, which is fine. I play aggressively and force the issue, but don't use shotguns. When we get to the point where stats are important in video games they stop being games.
-
5 отв.They switched to kda, to make people feel better about their scoring. 1.4 eff is a lot easier to look at then a .95 kd. They are basically the same. One feels good the other doesnt. Likely done because if people feel better about he way they are playing, they will play more.
-
I like them both tbh. But it would be cool to have a K/D emblem. I also wish they would have the option of showing both stats for your last 1,000 games or so becuase I think it would help with all the account recreation that people have been doing so that they aren't weighed down by stats from when they were new at the game. But yeah, I've seen some people who teamshot so much that their efficiency is a full point higher than their K/D.
-
I support the Efficiency system theyve switched to. I dont mind seeing low K/D numbers, Ive never cared about them, but efficiency help you feel better about putting in all the work on an enemy and then your teammate get one lucky shot off to claim the final blow. They could show both to appease everyone though.

6 отв.KDA is a better stat to show off no matter how you look at it. KDA shows involvement and with damage dealt also in the game you can get an idea of a good player too.
-
I think K/D and damage are the most important stats, if your damage outweighs your kills, your assists should balance it out, but just assists and kills is misleading, because you can get assists for just tagging someone. I think if genre was a good way to show damage per kill/death it would be much better (overkill should be ignored so anything over 200 unless they got armor should not be shown).

Unless you're suggesting a post-game breakdown of percentage of kills attributed to each player, then there isn't enough data to be learned by changing anything. 99% damage and someone else gets the 'final blow' 1%, that's a 'kill' I don't care about. Same is true for the opposite scenario. So, unless you're going to gauge assists for their % of the kill, including them in a 'defeat' is a much better representation of a player's true contribution to the match. I also pay close attention to 'damage dealt' which can tell you a lot - especially if the guy with a high 'kill' count has exceptionally low damage dealt. See? There's just too much to consider unless you go super-granular with it, which I don't see happening... I would like more stats in the postgame screen though. Definitely would like to see medals...

Изменено (Killa Karizma): 10/22/2018 11:36:46 AMHow is it misleading? What is the point of showing your K/D? You could have just taken a kill off another teammate, or they could have done the same to you. KDA with overall damage and any objective statistics provide a more accurate representation of your performance.

Sylok! The defiled!!!!!! But on a serious note, I totally agree.

8 отв.Haven't you got the message yet? They got your 60$ or 100$ dollars or whatever they don't care. They are a cash grab company. They could care less.
-
Whole heartedly agree
-
K/d must not matter or they’d prob show it:
-
I second this!
I like big butts but seriously though, KD and then assists in 2 separate columns would be so much better than misleading the masses : /, that's how I feel
1 ответYou can put on the emblem to flex your video game stats.
