Gotta have some reason to force people to use a bow and arrow .........in the future.....in outer space

Common sense is frowned upon around these parts.

I said it made no sense before forsaken came out. And was attacked for it

Theoretically, the weapon makes perfect sense for where it originates from. It's a weapon from the Tangled Shore. A weapon created by desperate outlaws. Thus something with simple parts, recoverable rounds, and lower maintenance thresholds. Then you have Wish-Ender which is a weapon belonging to a somewhat archaic figure.

and for some reason Swords need ammo otherwise you flail around with an imaginary sword.
-
Conceptually, the sword could be a flash-forge edge, which gives it the sharpness and energy effect.

My trinity ghoul needs to be useful somehow

I thought the same thing, too. However, I did notice when i aim with it and go for the crit point, I'm guaranteed at least 1 crit shot, up to 3! Add that and the spark perk and it does pretty damned good! Now it's more of a go to for me in PvE for most missions. And, I've learned how to get s good rhythm going with bows to maximize damage. In short, 1 arrow equals 3 hits. 1 arrow equals 1-3 crits. 1 arrow equals 3 hits with lightning.

Oh yeah but freaking pulse rifles kill before the second shot can be pulled back

Avengers, right? That sounds like a Hawkeye quote

"Bullseye"! I mean yes. You are dead on.
