If i pay someone to walk my dog and mow my lawn at the weekends, why is it so bad for me to pay a teenager to get my Luna's?

When I grew up playing games, having a friend to help you with a level, or older sibling to do a level for you was a fairly common thing. Is this not the modern equivalent?
£600 is a lot for a gun in a game eh?

i have a buddy, who is quite an average pvp player, doesn't do sweats or even bother with competitive. A few weeks back, he disappeared for a weeks time and then he was back with the lunas howl. Given the circumstances, we all knew how he got it. Regardless, he was so encouraged to show it off and melt everyone in the crucibles. Although, he was dropping on the bottom of the leaderboard. We started to tease him and kick him around, so he decides to sweat it, and the next match, hus shotgun was the only thing to be shot. Morale of the story, having luna doesnt make u a God in pvp. Esp. if u r not well acquainted with landing precision shots with a hand cannon.

1. Destiny is a game and intended for you to play it and complete the challanges. I don't play competeiive and as such I am not going to pay hundreds of pounds for a virtual item (if I was that kind of person I will play Star Citizen and then pay the game creators not a stranger) so will just get over it and never have the gun. 2. You are doing a stupid thing by allowing a STRANGER access to your account and are taking a BIG risk to your account internet security (please read up on the advise that is freely given out on this subject). Known issues that are seen on thises forums (and as a regular of the #Help forum have had to give the bad news about)..... Loads of these people want your money and then move to the next dupe so cheat and this can result in you being banned from playing D2 (it is your account no matter who plays on it) Accounts being stolen... Yep you gave your details to a stranger and some take that money and then change your security codes and sell the account on EBay for more money AND this is not just your account in Destiny but your whole gammer account be it Blizzard, PSN or XBL. Taking the money but not providing the goods. This is all because you gave your account details to a STRANGER in a basement somewhere not a company and they are not suported or backed by Bungie, Sony, Microsoft, Blizzard or Activision and in fact all of the above want you to report players charging for recoveries when seen on their own sites. No the risk and cost for a VIRTUAL item is to much.

Not my place to judge you on what you spend your money on. If someone pays a random person 600 dollars, trusts that the account will be fine and not corrupted, in order to not having to play this horrible PvP, then that's that persons decision and money.

if you would pay to get lunas howl, which isnt even hard, just long, you probably dont know how to use it anyway. its like buying a broken car. you use your money to pay for something you cant use.

Simply put: Stranger Danger! Your examples of dog walking and lawn mowing involve transactions where you know the person you're dealing with, at least on some level. Unless you know the teen you're dealing with, there is heightened risk for your account to be hijacked or ransomed.

I’ll need your log in info so I can take your money and delete everything on your Destiny game.” That sounds like the bestest idea ever. 2 отв.Agreed 100%. Whatever the cost of a gun in a video game is, if you're willing to pay and you want it, then pay. Personally I find it bizarre that anyone would do this, but by the same token if I wasn't carried I would never have been to the lighthouse in D1.

Against terms of service and, wouldn’t you like to feel a sense of accomplishment by grinding it yourself? If you can’t get the gun yourself you shouldn’t be using it plain and simple! Also you will be a better player for it. There will always -blam!-tards out there with more money then sense , but hey it’s there money right.

£600 is 6 times the cost of the actual game(lets base it on the legendary edition), I think thats a bit too much. I used to help people do carries in raid and I did a couple myself both free and paid. I see why people want to pay for something that they wont get but the thing is if you keep trying eventually you will get there, it doesn't feel the same if someone else do it for you.

2 отв.Which is why I’m skipping the Luna’s howl quest and working on the broadsword quest for one simple reason It’s easier Yeah you need pulse rifle kills and reach valor rank heroic and only have to comp in one step and to be fair hashing to only do comp for one step of a quest is fine for me

Besides , what will you do after you get it? Because now you will b bored and have to be accountable for that gun. Which now you have ( for the money spent ) have your best weapon? Nothing else to play for and you won’t be happy

If you cant get the weapon yourself then you wont be a better player with Luna.
