I've been enjoying this game for the last month, but this last week I've just gotten exhausted, as are most of my clan mates and friends.
I've gotten 3 characters to 560 and am going to have to keep doing the same grind i'm doing now for another 3 weeks to enjoy / complete:
The Raid, The New Dungeon, The Wish Ender Quest.
These activities are being introduced at end-game levels while I'm stuck grinding what already feels like the casual end game.
For now, I guess I'll watch streamers just do the new activities and probably lose interest in even wanting to do them over the next 2 weeks. Red Dead Redemption is coming out and I bet the D2 servers are going to hurt from that.
Besides, I can always wait until the DLC's come out, raise the light level and make the grind faster from getting better drops.
Video games should be fun guys, not this much of a chore, and this is coming from someone who enjoys a daily grind in games.
Wish this would get fixed.
EDIT: It's nice to see a lot of posts that echo this sentiment. For those curious - I've spent over 100 HOURS on grinding Foresaken content because i've had 3 of these weeks off work. So for the few here telling me to put in more time, exactly how much more time do i need to put in to enjoy activities that are available now?

10 отв.the problem is, giving these no lifers a grind, but the gamers with a life a getting left behind.. the difference is too big... between the non stop gamers that also abused an engram bug and the normal gamers.. good luck finding a balance. but how it is now, is a bit much of a grind.. its just a tad too much... i suggest increasing levels of the drop, instead of 1 above your level, it should always be 2 above your highest item of that itemslot.. this way it goes a bit faster and you wont waste your powerfull engrams, that drops 5 levels below your equiped item. its stupid. shouldnt our time be rewarded instead of being lucky with drops?...

Wow u have bad eng I have one character with just playing and doing milestones and some of the raid and I'm 376
-
Damn Bro, 100 hours? Have you been going to the Cryptarch for that Prime Attunement? You should have gotten a lot of Prime Engrams this past month.
-
If you're only at 560 after playing that much, it's not Bungie's fault that you are doing your level grind all wrong. You're probably doing your activities out of order regarding the tiers of powerful rewards that Bungie explained to us and also probably doing things on each character simultaneously where you should completely focus on one character at a time throughout the week. Nobody's fault but yours.
-
It'd be much easier to level up if the 'powerful' rewards actually dropped above my level. I don't need a 37th Edge Transit.
-
5 отв.Not sure if this will help but my buddy (590+) told us to pop powerful engrams starting with dreaming city/Petra, night fall then 100k, then flash point and on down with dailies and weekly crucible and gambit. Doing this has helped me immensely. I ended last week at 577 on my Warlock and with five? Engrams dropped I'm 581 right now. Only parts of the raid I've ever done were first boss and half of second, couldn't beat her.
-
Maybe instead of spreading your time among three characters you should have just focused on one? I’ve exclusively played my hunter and and mind 580’s, it’s really not that hard.
-
Protip I just learned about a week ago, not all powerful rewards are equal. Some things have a better chance of dropping at a higher light level than others. I don't know the exact breakdown but if you look around on reddit or YouTube you'll probably find a breakdown of what activities can drop appox what light increase. I dont know for sure that it's 100% truth but last week i started with everyrhing in the dreaming city that gave powerful drops and spiders weekly boss bounty then went on to weekly and daily challenges and it definitely made a differences.

4 отв.Why do you have to have EVERYTHING done in the first month? We knew going into this that Bungie promised a longer experience because previous stuff we've all rushed through and gotten done with everything, maxed on all characters, etc. within a week or two. That shouldn't be the norm.
-
9 отв.Grind more effectively, wasting 100 hours and only getting to 560 is a shame don't beg for end game content to be lowered because you don't know how to effectively grind.
-
5 отв.Nope, the leveling is fine. This is no longer vanilla D2, the grind is back. Go play something else if you want everything yesterday. I hear they offer daily sign in bonuses in MHW
-
You can all of those at 560...every...single...one...
-
You can do the first two parts of the raid.
-
Got a whole season worth of stuff to do. I don't see why I need everything right this moment and there are more things being uncovered that aren't tied to the annual pass we haven't discovered yet. Should we get all that for free too?
-
I’ve got one 580 character
-
What would be the point? What are you going to do once you hit 600? Start then complaining everything is too easy and bored . It’s a grind yes but I have played matches with guys who are 596 and believe me it’s a walkthrough for them and they carry the squad if needed Just be patient
-
How about no lol
-
I have gotten kind of burnt out too, but i think your main issue is that you've been focusing on all three characters. I focused on one, and hes 575 with no exploits.y titan can do any end game at this point. Maybe just start focusing on one character?
-
The next dlc is in December, there is plenty of time to level up and do the content which is higher light level? I don't get why you want everything done and out of the way? Would you still feel the same of everyone was in the same boat as you? If not I sense a bit of envy or salt.
-
2 отв.Got my main to 584 in 3 weeks. Started my hunter got to level 50 switched guns from my main and in 1 day made it to 575. You're doing something wrong.
-
You can't do shattered throne or wishender for 3 weeks anyway... As for the raid, 560 is plenty to get through a good chunk of it, even finish it. Also, I did shattered throne at 565. It was hard but we got it done.
-
I don't get all the people saying if you get to 600 you will have nothing to do, the grind was supposed to be for the perfect weapon rolls but nobody even mentions it. There is no point even bothering to look for these random rolled weapons until you reach 600 as the infusion cost makes it pointless. The grind to 600 is so boring. I'm 580 now and the only stuff that upgrades my characters will be the dreaming city and the raid. Its ridiculous.
-
Yep I here you. I just wanted the grind to be up to par with D1. They definitely brought the grind back and then upped it by 100%
-
Agree completely
-
Изменено (Heliocop): 10/2/2018 6:53:35 PMYou gotta find some non assholes. We did the raid last night with my buddy starting at 552.
-
I've been working full time and have two characters above 565 in the same amount of time as you. Personally I love the pace of the grind and I'm happy to still have content that is undiscovered to me.
